It's been a little more than a week since I said it would be out "this week," but hopefully you'll forgive me now that I have finally finished the long-awaited second dev build for the Morning After Update.
For those who are unfamiliar, a "dev build" is what I call a work-in-progress build that I share with Senior and Graduate patrons as a preview of the final release. This one in particular has taken a long, long time due a variety of factors I've covered at length in prior game status update posts.
This is a massive milestone since what's in this build was an incredibly complicated section to have written and coded. Now I can move on to finishing the remaining planned content, which will be much more linear and thus much easier and quicker to create. That means the final release will go into early access in the near future!
If you are a Graduate or Senior patron, or would like to become one, visit this post for the download links and for extensive info about the build.
Every single ending point in the current public release now continues, so you'll get to see some immediate results of your choices.
The first dev build introduced the continuation of ending your day at the frat house or Matt's apartment, as well as added a new way to stay at both locations. Those scenes now continue with you going back to your dorm room.
The following content has been added as of this new build:
Waking up at Griffin's apartment
Hooked up with Griffin
Watched a movie
Just went to sleep
Waking up in your room
Every other ending point continues here, key among them:
Hooked up with Marco
Jerked off with Marco
Allowed Marco to jerk off while you went to bed, waited for him outside, or made him go to the bathroom
Hooked up with Julian but did not accept Owen's help
Hooked up with Alex
Hooked up with Mafia & NC17
Watched Alex, Mafia, & NC17 hooking up
Ended your night by comforting/kissing/making out with Isaiah
Walked home by Asher
Got blackout drunk at the club
Had certain key experiences with other main characters like Riley and Dominic
Whether you wake up in your dorm room or return from another location, the story can continue in several fashions:
Outside of a few instances, you can talk to Marco about what occurred above
Alternatively, you can ponder those events on your own
If you had any other significant experiences with someone, you'll consider how you feel about them
If you hit a certain milestone with Dominic, a special scene unlocks after the ones above

A total of 96 new and revised CGs have been implemented as of this build:
22 new CGs were added in the first Dev build featuring Evan, Julian, Matt, & Owen, plus Kash, Hugh, Parker, & Uriel
27 new CGs have been added in this build featuring Asher, Dominic, Griffin, & Marco, plus Andy & Connor's brother, Fane (as seen above)
44 existing CGs have been revised to add the newest models for Asher, Dominic, Isaiah, Leo, Mafia, NC17, & Tomas, plus Dominic's friend Ian (one Dominic CG is a placeholder)
3 upcoming CGs are included but cannot be unlocked featuring Riley, Tomas, & Will. You can see those CGs in this sneak peek post if you are of a patron level to view it, but there's currently no way to unlock them in each guy's respective gallery.
Various other art updates have been made that includes:
Backgrounds with colors changed to match CG backgrounds
New sprites for a variety of characters, though not all sprites for those characters have been updated yet
One small "Easter egg" in the content you've already played. Who will spot it first?
I've been working nonstop, long-hour days to try and get this build playable, so first thing I'm gonna do now is sleep.
But I will be monitoring comments as often as I can to make sure I address any big bugs people find, and I will also start working in earnest on what remains before the full release is done. The next game status update on the 16th will give a progress report.
This part of the game is heavily reactive to your choices, which has required an incredible amount of work for a solo, semi-amateur developer. I think ultimately it's been worth the time and effort to make the story feel like yours—and the plan now is to continue to do that, but with a little less time between releases 😉
