Game Update #35

July is here, as is my latest game status update! 

How 'bout that pic of Matt heating things up, huh? In part because of all the fuckery going on with Twitter, I'm now also on Instagram. I'm going to occasionally share some high-res renders of the guys on there that get as close to the NSFW edge as they'll allow. I'd love if you gave me a follow!

Now to the game! In brief, I'm still chugging along, there are just a few challenges to overcome before the train reaches the station.

Art

Renders are coming along for the hookup scenes and sprites that will wrap up the art for the Club Update. You may have seen other creators mention this, but it's been getting very hot in some areas lately, and mine is one of them. I'm being very careful to not overheat my graphics card, which limits how many renders I can do a day. But it hasn't put me too terribly far behind - based on what I've made so far, I think you'll really enjoy how the hookup with Alex and the other semi-secret hookup have come together...

Coding & Testing

This is the other very big task that has been taking awhile and will continue to do so. In addition to making sure all the stuff I added for this update is working correctly, I also need to make sure scenes link back to what's already in the game as well. For instance, if you head back home from the club at certain times, you may encounter Marco like you do if you head home early from Matt's place. So the polish pass continues.

Looking Ahead

The above is all that's left for the Club Update! We're closing in on the early access releases now, and I'll be happy to share the release dates once I'm completely done!

New Patreon Content

I mentioned in a prior update that I was considering adding some behind-the-scenes posts here for those who are interested. I've decided that I'll share these with all patrons and will do at least one a month. I know there are other creators or aspiring creators on here, and I'd love to share some of what goes into making all this sausage. The first post will cover how I create character models as I walk through the design process for someone coming in the future, Evan's hot dad. So look forward to that later this month!
