The fanfiction where Lincoln gets tumors in his brain and dies. So, will he give us an ending that's a glass half full where Lincoln and Lynn are still together but make the sacrifice to leave their family? Or do we get a completely empty glass where they break up, they tell their family its over, but deep down inside, everyone is miserable, and nobody lives happily ever after? Because at this point, there's no fixing the family. They're never going back to being that happy family ever again. That's done. Gone.

No, even worse – the Scissors of Reality are trying to cut them the way they’re trying to cut the ties that bind the family together; the way they’re trying to cut the red thread that binds Lincoln and Lynn together. But what else can these star-crossed sibling soulmates do? Unfortunately, there’s going to be a losing side in this war at home. But which side of the battlefield are Lincoln and Lynn going to choose? Can they salvage the shattered pieces of their family? Or is this beautiful, forbidden love of theirs worth dying on that hill? And while it was so wonderful and long overdue to see Lincoln and Lynn finally kiss again, it did make me a little sad because this felt more like a goodbye kiss. I just wish the circumstances could’ve played out better for them. I guess this is where the outro of the song "Rewrite the Stars" comes into play now . . .
