Super Partners Exclusive Comic Poll #1: Theme
Added 2025-01-04 00:25:02 +0000 UTCThe general idea for this comic is to break down the parts of the comic to allow everyone to vote, and then assemble those parts into the comic! So, how does that work? Well, it’s a bit like baking a cake.
First things first, we need to figure out what kind of cake to make. Chocolate, Vanilla, etc. In writing terms though, we need to figure out the archetype of the character, so are they a Batman-type, Ironman-type, etc.
Once we all vote on the type of cake (hero) we want, then we’ll move onto the next part. What type of icing do we want on the cake? Or, a better way to state that, who are the characters and what do they look like?
After we determine the lead(s) for the comic, we’ll vote on the overall plot. The ideas in the Super Partner Google Doc are a good starting place to get an idea of some directions we could go in.
Once we figure out the overall arc of the comic, then month to month we’ll vote on the story beats. Think of it like the side story votes, but instead of voting on a story idea you’ll be voting on the actions/situations that the characters find themselves in!
This whole thing is a new process, so there are bound to be some kinks to work out. But, please bear with us and give feedback on the process so we can make this a fun experience for you all!
