All of the death in her wake is finally catching up to her. Whether or not the saviors are bad on a whole, I think there is a massive gray area when it comes to what they did at the satellite base, killing all of those people with no real knowledge of whether or not they were all bad.

Rick for the most part moves with the whole group in mind. Shane had more of the weak die and strong survive mentality.

We’re upwards of 30-40 between the bikers, the people Daryl/abe/Sasha took out on the road before the bikers, the entire outpost in their sleep & then the mini battle, followed by this mini group on the outside & the group that came to rescue them!

He had the right ideas and he was “early” to the cruelness but he wasn’t mentally stable enough to last nearly as long as Rick and wouldn’t have been able to do even 1/10th of what Rick has. Shane met his end at the right time.

Now that they’ve gone through what they have it makes sense that they’re fine with killing. Shane wasn’t prepared he was a horrible person with severe mental problems.

How quick Rick was to kill "Negan," but at the farm, he couldn't kill Randall. Shane was a survivor before everyone else and knew what hard choices needed to be made.
