But it's very clear to me that there is a lot of people who have an agenda in trying to bring Marvel down. They will say every movie sucks and that it's too woke. This movie is a perfect example of why I don't ever listen to the Marvel critics. Was it the best movie? No, but it was solid and that's all it really needs to be.

2025-05-04 09:50:44 +0000 UTCThat was way better than I expected after all the negativity. Not to the level of Winter Soldier or Civil War, but a pretty solid Captain America movie. Red Hulk looked good, and it's a fitting ending to Ross' character arc in the MCU. The only thing that bugged me was that the security lady was so tiny. It's pretty unbelievable that she would be able to handle men the way she did. Natasha wasn't very big, but the way she fought by using her tools and the environment was more believable. I enjoyed seeing Isaiah again. I really appreciate that Sam doesn't have the serum but he's still a hero, even without the suit. To me, that makes him even braver than guys like Thor or Spider-Man. He's more along the lines of a Star Lord or Hawkeye. Plus, Joaquin gets to be the new Falcon, and it looks like they're going with green for his costume, which is a callback to Falcon's original outfit in the comics, way back in 1968. (In the comics, it was Black Panther who gave Sam his first set of wings. The original Redwing, BTW, was Sam's actual pet falcon.) Enjoyed your reaction. Thanks for letting us watch with you.

2025-05-03 14:04:28 +0000 UTCBefore anything else… 30:37 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Also, yes!!! Giancarlo Esposito is finally in the MCU. He said there’s room for more Sidewinder in the future. I would certainly hope so because I was expecting more from him. He said this is one of his most physical roles. He also kinda compared him to Gus Fring. After seeing Breaking Bad, it makes sense. Samuel Sterns is new to the MCU, and he was portrayed by Tim Blake Nelson. You guys recently saw him in Holes when he portrayed Pendanski, and long before that he was in O Brother Where Art Thou. 4:54 this is why Sam is one of my favorite characters. Yes some items are too dangerous to roam about, but saving lives will always be THE top priority. 9:17 badass one second and dorky the next. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Also, we met Danny Ramirez in Falcon & Winter Soldier as Joaquin Torres. Not only is Danny back in this movie, but we also saw him in The Last of Us season 2 where he portrays Manny. As for Thaddeus Ross, he was originally portrayed by William Hurt. Unfortunately he passed away in 2022. Back he was still with us though, he was in talks about reprising his role while also becoming the Red Hulk. So even though he was recasted with Harrison Ford, this is a bit of a tribute to the late Mr. Hurt. 22:46 now that we have adamantium in the main timeline which is stronger than vibranium, it makes me wonder what it means for Wakanda. Last time we saw them, they weren’t on good terms with the US. Maybe relations have improved since then, but adamantium begs the question: Will the rivalry between the US and Wakanda finally simmer down, or will this compel Wakanda to make good on their alliance with Talokan and ask Namor for help? Time will tell. The only thing I’m gonna say about Thunderbolts is that Bucky is in the team. I’m gonna go check it out tonight. Once you guys watch it, we’ll talk about it at length. Until then, we’re getting the Ironheart series next month. In case you don’t remember who she is, we saw her in Wakanda Forever portrayed by Dominique Thorne. She’s the MIT student who built the vibranium detector and helped Wakanda take on Talokan after they were ambushed.
