The barn scene annoys me so much because where tf them walkers come from and why they just randomly target the barn? With the storm going on, everyone was inside and ppl were sleeping, no one was being noisy, Daryl just goes to check the door and there’s a random ass army of walkers right there. Makes no sense, the only stretch of logic is that a herd was migrating and was going the direction of the barn, but it’s such an astronomical improbability.

Rick getting branches without a word to cook the dogs makes me think back to 3x1 when they scavenged that house in the first scene and Carl found that dog food. When he was opening for them to eat, Rick took the take and threw it because he wasn't. Granted, dog and dog food aren't the same thing, but it shows how rock bottom they've hit in comparison, especially with how the thought of eating dogs in American culture is usually considered such horrid thing and isn't a known culinary experience within it...

idk if you noticed, but, the 3 first people in the barn to get up to get the door when the walkers were coming, it had a meaning. The entire episode was focused on Maggie, Sasha and Daryl. The 3 of them were completely depressed and ready to give up. You saw when it started raining, everyone gained back hope and were happy smiling and laughing, while only the 3 of them were completely emotionless. But then, when it came to actually fight (to keep the doors closed) the first 3 to come and fight were these 3. :)

Yea within the story at the moment and too not feel rushed and rather going through the struggle and journey they are going through before reaching a destination, they’ve done very well with these episodes where it’s not a lot going on in terms of action to keep it interesting within these moments and yea nice cinematography as well, when the group was separated with episodes leaving the prison in the past, they did well on those episodes also in terms of interest

You can have hope without God or religion. I have no problem with religion being portrayed in the show, but the idea that hope can't exist WITHOUT religion is BS. Also if God existed then why would he allow this terror to happen? Every religious person seems to completely ignore the terrible things that "God" causes and only give recognition to things they perceive as good. It's just a mind game that people play to make themselves feel better by justifying every little thing that happens to be in gods favor.

The scene of the whole group holding the barn doors shut is one of my favourite TWD scenes ever. The raw emotion it made you feel, seeing the whole group completely united in that moment. Especially after going through so much, and being so exhausted and despaired. It was truly beautiful.

For the group Tyreese was a bigger asset. In general Sasha might have been stronger mentally but she’s not exactly stable. She almost killed people in this episode because she was reactive, impulsive and couldn’t control herself.

I LOVE how bleak this episode is! Perfect time to sit with our characters and really feel their pain. My favorite TWD episodes tend to be the slower ones that focus more on the characters and their mental state, morals and development. It's super depressing and then boom...here comes Aaron finally! Let's goooo.

This is such a great episode. Our group is so beaten down physically, mentally and emotionally. But they are together. I love the faith and hope messages in this episode. I fully believe it was God that saved them from the storm. I believe He was sending them a message of hope and He was restoring their faith, trying to show them not to give up. I love that. Everything happened the way it needed to happen for all of them to survive and they did it together. As far as the guy, straight up suspicious of him right off the bat. I remember when I first watched this and I was like nope, don't trust him AT ALL! You have to earn that trust buddy. As far as MVP, I definitely give it to Daryl for all the reasons you listed. He just always comes in clutch in so many ways. His character development is truly amazing. Honorable mention to Carl for giving the music box to Maggie, to Michonne for trying to reel Sasha in and to the group as a whole for coming together to block the door. This season is so good. Love your reactions.

I don't know if y'all caught it, but that walker in the trunk had braces. That was a teenager that some people must have captured and just left there to die. Combined with it also being a blonde girl, Maggie was having a justified meltdown there. And with the dogs, I think they were once domesticated but went feral due to being out on their own for so long, meaning their owners are long long gone, at least that's how I took it.
