I don’t know if I completely buy that. Within their timeline, it’s only been a year since the apocalypse started and there’s still people who believe it could be reversed (I.e. the people in the hospital). It’s one thing if it was 5-6 years, but it’s been 10-11 months. And all of a sudden you come across a scientist who claims he can end it all. How much do you care about those 2 people (you didn’t know a year ago) when you could potentially save the world.

I don’t know why are upset with Abraham, in the grand scheme of things saving the world and ending the apocalypse is so much more important than whatever little group war they have going on. People are invested in certain characters so it’s understandable. But I’d rather sacrifice Carol and Darryl and save the world over getting them back and potentially losing Eugene.

yea i see what u saying but at the end of the day Rick could’ve jus killed those 2 walkers instead of putting them under the water without killing them… Bob obviously forgot about them, and it’s a hazard anyway because there is no way of knowing if they’re down and still stuck under the shelf. yes the group shoulda gone back and killed the cannibals but Rick could’ve made the situation safer

How was it Rick's fault, though? He's the one that wanted to go back and finish the Terminus guys off, the rest of the group wanted to just leave because they didn't think they were a threat anymore. Bob would've been bitten at the food bank regardless, that was out of anyone's control.

It's not like Rick's group were like this from the start. Gabriel hasn't had to face the outside world like they did, which is what hardened them. Things clearly change with him after he does. The only person able to remain this way out of every character in the series is Eugene, something I've never understood the logic behind.

I agree that everyone new is going to be not trusted until proven that they can be it’s just sometimes I feel like it’s taken to the extreme when they haven’t gave any reason to be (Gabriel, bob). Also they’ll lose out on some of the character arcs if they just think everything that new characters say is fake or a lie. First half of s4 everytime bob came on screen it was “oh he’s still suspicious” “of course he’s there with them” and lots of dirty looks instead of just listening to some of his dialogue and then analyzing his character.

And what bothers me is they always resort to violence, wanting Gabriel dead without a valid reason as if killing someone is okay. Rick Grimes, IMO, is one of the best TV characters of all time. He deserves to be on a list or something lmao. His character is so complex & following each of his arcs is amazing to watch. Try remembering what season 1 rick was like VS season 5, its incredible. Andrew Lincoln made Rick Grimes who he is. No one can replace what he did with this character. @Artoholic_ you're right i agree and the only reason Rick lost that fight to the governor is because he got shot in the leg less than a minute prior. Most people miss that small couple frames of a scene where he catches a bullet as they all start shooting each other. I honestly put more of the blame for Bob getting bit on Rick than I do on Gabriel. It made sense for Rick to want Gabriel to go to the food bank with them, but Rick knew he wasn’t gonna be good in a fight and he still made him get in that water for literally no reason at all.
