Thomas has a fetish for decapitation and lures them into a room and does just that to the two girls, leaving their heads to turn. The comics are crazy. They had to change a lot for the show

Andrea hate is by no means forced. She was irritating from the beginning. The problem isn't her intentions, it's her lack of intuition and lack of brains. She has no awareness of the nature of what's actually happening around her, especially in the case of the governor. You know gut instinct? She doesn't have any gut instincts to speak of. She has no loyalty to her original group or Michonne since finding Woodbury. She was out of control with her desire to use guns and was trigger happy and reckless as a result, hence her shooting Daryl when she was told to stand down. She's not only a nuisance but a severe liability. Not to mention the fact that Andrea was literally shown the bad side of the governor and for some reason completely ignored that. She's literally blind to everything. And then when she realized the governor was going to kill everyone at the prison, and she said "I have to stop this" literally all she had to do was shoot him. But no she doesn't. Even though doing so would literally mean saving everyone who's supposed to be important to her.

I tihnk the Andrea hate is kinda forced, sure she isnt the in the top 10 of best characters in the show but shes literally trying to safe both sides. I think youre kinda forgetting that 95% of woodberry are normal people who have no idea about the crazy shit the governor is doing. All andrea wants is that not like 80 of both sides are getting slaughtered and I think thats pretty valid lol.

As an avid Andrea hater, allow me to come to her defense at least once. After re-watching the series for the fourth time, I understand how she came to a lot of conclusions that she came to. Seeing that the show had at least one throw away line about her being a civil rights attorney, her behavior kind of aligns with her mindset throughout this entire season. Her willing to see both sides into matter of factly proven guilty, is a character trait that I think is underrated. And just to be clear, I am not saying that anyone should like her now, but I would always like to bring an understanding

I acknowledge that most viewers like the Governor and totally respect that opinion. I think it just comes down to taste in villains and how much I was able to buy into him. I understand intellectually why scared people could look to him as a leader, but his brand of "charisma" is so offputting to me that it's hard for me to fully buy in. Then Andrea being so naive and bought in just exacerbates it. Watching it with V and S definitely helped me appreciate his character a little bit more seeing him through new eyes. I just can't think of a single community or antagonist that I enjoy less than Woodbury and the Governor.

I don't know if you noticed that he put a speculum on the table. Yikes and you know he's not going to warm it up first. This is one of the most intense episodes for me. It has the build up to when he catches up to her you know he's going to use all that stuff on her. I did find Andrea annoying but in reality it would be very difficult to give up a town like that vs the hell outside the walls. I can see why she wants to try and stop the bloodshed. She made mistakes and in the end paid for them. (Showing her at the end of the episode).

Shane truly did like 95% of what he did out of what he believed would make the best outcome for the group, he has his differences with some in the group but he still cared until his plan to get Rick. The Governor don’t give the slightest shit about his people he purely sees them as things to use to his gain 😭 dudes a monster

Actually Lori gets shot in the back with a Shotgun and falls on Judith, which kills her. The bullet doesn't go through her head, but she died from the crush. Super brutal. Almost more brutal in a way.

This whole episode definitely felt like a horror movie. The Governor created the torture room is for Michonne, pretty disgusting watching him all excited as he's setting it up. Also, Rick knows he's seeing things that aren't real which is why he didn't think much of his quick glimpse of Andrea. I remember being so frustrated by how close she came when I first watched!

That's a fair enough interpretation. I still think it's silly, and I can extend this to the prison, where they constantly have walkers up against the fence, and (at this point) they don't go around killing them thru the fence. They've even made comments about how they need to spread them out so they don't take out a fence wall, but they don't kill them. I considered they could be using the walkers as natural defense but considering what happened in episode 4, I doubt that.

As far as the bullets go, you have to remember they've been pretty stacked for awhile. Also since the governor is an evil psychopath, they have killed entire groups of people including a military unit to steal all of their stuff for Woodbury. On top of all that, we are still pretty early into the apocalypse at this point relative to what year it is by the end of the show, so people who aren't future minded and smart don't think ahead to whether they'll run out in the future or not. They waste because the governor has convinced them that they are on the top of the world and nothing can go wrong with Woodbury etc so they don't feel the scarcity of bullets out in the world.

The governor was probably either second or third best main enemy in the entire show, at least that's what a large majority of viewers think when they've done polls on it or open discussions on reddit etc. Compare him to the wolves or claimers or reapers or termites etc, the governor stands above most of them

I skip them too, it's been nice being able to actually enjoy these episodes again. It's good the first time but by far the worst plot line in the entire show on rewatch. Andrea is insufferable and the Governor is so lame in comparison to future antagonists.

I could be mistaken, but I don’t think Andrea knows about how the governor gets all the supplies. And regarding his daughter, you can’t fault the man too much for hoping he can cure his daughter. I think Andrea has questions and suspicions, but honestly, the governor does such a good job coming up with a reasonable excuse for everything she questions. He’s a good manipulator. She’s trying to do good, but she hasn’t yet seen true evil of the governor.

It's so hard to take Woodbury seriously when they waste bullets the way they do. They have more than enough resources to kill walkers without shooting them with expensive, rare ammunition. Also, the door move was pretty cool, I just wish it was a little better executed. After she opened the door, the zombies saw her and should have been FLAT up against the other side. Wouldve made more sense if the door opened out into the room she was in, or if she just opened it and made a run for it. Minor complaint, but stuff like that happens a lot, and better writing avoids it

She stayed for the innocent people of Woodbury. She's been trying to PREVENT a war this whole time. That why she went back to Woodbury. If she went back with Team Prison, that right there wpuld have most likely seal the fate of guaranteed war, which would have LITERALLY defeated the whole purposely of everything she's been trying to do. Some people are simply not okay with murdering other people. She's never killed anyone before and y'all expect her to just go murder to guy she was sleeping with because someone she knew 9 months ago asked her to? It's one thing to kill someone in self defense to being attacked like Maggie did (& Glenn attempted) back in 3x07 or 3x08, and murdering in their sleep. Why didn't Rick kill Governor in the previous episode? Why didn't Maggie shoot snipe him when when went back to save Daryl. And people act like Andrea knew what was going on. All she's been getting is literally bits and pieces of information from two different sides. Hell, she didn't even know about the Maggie incident until literally last episode. How do people claim Andrea stood by and watched all season? Because she refused to murder someone in their sleep by simply taking Team Prison's word after being with them for the first time, for like half a day, in almost a year? When has Andrea never tried to confront a problem. She always has tried to confront problems. She literally was a whole lawyer before the apocalypse. Most fans literally hate for comstant "confronting". How is that HER fault that she's been repeatedly lied to 🙄...
