Hahaha , I felt the same way about Andrea at this point. She always got on my nerves ( always whining about guns and then, of course, shooting Daryl, lol) but by this episode I just didn't even want to see her. She literally turned her back on Michonne even after Michonne spent 8 months keeping her sick butt alive lol. Andrea was at least consistent with the kind of men she wanted........crazy ass psychopaths lol. Anyway, I am loving watching this with y'all. So so much. Thank you for doing this.

No he wouldn’t have. People don’t realise that aggression with no plan leads you nowhere. He would have done what Glenn suggested and gotten them all killed. Shane was cutthroat but he was also dumb. His plan to kill Rick, failed. Darryl noticed the inconsistencies almost instantly. And Rick knew what he was doing the whole time.

Even with shane Shane she should have noticed Shane was being unstable and she still was on his side until dale died. Andrea has been wrong this whole show. However Andrea is a disloyal person. 8 months is a long time to spend w/someone in an apocalypse and she pointed a gun at Michonne and refused to trust her (DAMN GOOD) survival instincts when she told her something's off after knowing the Gov. for way less time. Comic book Andrea is not here in the show.

I don't think a reasonable person would need much more than " he tried to kill my friend on her way out after he said we could leave in peace" to understand something is fishy w/ the Gov . At that point in the story she hadn't even attacked the Gov. yet so it would've been plain murder. Andrea chose willful ignorance when she left the group at the prison. She's stressed in this episode because she's fighting the truth to stay in her blissful ignorance. If she wouldn't believe her friend Michonne there's nothing Merle could say.

I do remember being angry with Andrea at the time when this episode aired, but in hindsight you're right that it is about minimizing human death between the two groups for her. I'm not a fan of Andrea's arc in this season, but her motivation is to avoid bloodshed between the people of Woodbury, whom she's gotten to know (if the writers would have shown meaningful interaction between her and the townspeople, it would make her actions more sensible), and the group at the prison. I don't think she's persuaded by The Governor at this point, but she's still hoping for a peaceful resolution. In hindsight, the Woodbury storyline should have been multiple seasons so the audience could meet and know more characters within the town so it would create more tension in where our loyalty lies. In the story as presented, we don't care about the townspeople, only the main group; therefore, Andrea's actions make no sense to us.

yes but, she also couldve killed him and then taken over herself and lead the people. she already knows the governor barely cares about the people and she knows the general people listen to her. its a difficult choice but she literally KNOWS hes preparing to attack and that people she knew and cared about are severely out gunned and out manned so choosing not to kill him is the same as letting him attack her friends and kill them all (prob put their heads in his freaky ass tank room which she also knows about)

Which is something people seem to forget. Killing another human being is a big deal. Killing an UNARMED human being in their sleep(someone you've recently become attached to, at that), and it's not even in self defense? It's different when someone's attacking you and you're literally, directly fighting for your life in the moment. It's a whole nother thing to walk up to someone, someone you know, in their sleep, and stick a knife through their temple. I agree that Andrea can be infuriating at times but I always believe her intentions to be good. I don't think Andrea is choosing The Governor over our group nor do I think she chose him over Michonne, rather she just wants to protect the town and she believes the way she can do the most good is by staying in Woodbury, close to The Governor.
