You mentioned it would be cool learning Korean, it looks like it would be hard but it's actually one of the easiest alphabets to learn. The alphabet is so easy because King Sejong, who created the Korean alphabet, wanted any Korean to be able to learn it. Before it's creation written Korean used Chinese Hanja so only the wealthy, who could afford education, knew how to write. Grammar is where it gets hard, Korean's speak like Yoda. Instead of saying "I'm going to the store" they would say "Store go", or "I store go" and is largely based on context. And after learning Korean you can hear the difference between what's being said and the subtitle translation. For example, When Jung-bae (according to the subtitles) says "Forget it" when trying to get Gi-hun to eat what he actually said is; "먹지 마" (Meokji ma) which means "Don't eat it", in the context of the conversation would better translate to "Fine, don't eat".
