I grew up with the OG trilogy and yes i enjoyed the sequel trilogy aswell but the statement that's been going around for months is that it should be watched in order as in The Lost World is next to watch NOT Jurassic World....there are plot and story lines that tie in There's a reason why its 2 separate trilogies

The beginning kinda covers how there's new investors and they learned from the mistakes of the old one. Like I agree they should watch it but it's not like they skipped the 1993 original. Hard part of this poll is Lost World is the weakest of the original 3 and Jurassic Word is the strongest of the new 3.

To add more clarity to what these guys are saying. Having seen all the films, I can say it stands alone enough that it would be fine, not ideal for super-fans but you can't please everyone. There are obvious nods/callbacks that would go unappreciated in your reaction without having seen the originals but it would still be understandable and enjoyable. Hope this helps.

2 sides to the coin on Jurassic Park/World The OG trilogy is arguably better as a whole than the new one, and it is technically cannon. However I don't remember any callbacks in the new ones that is specific to Lost World or Jurassic Park 3... So while I would rather they watch all of the OG, I don't know if anything in Jurassic World will go over their head. If I'm wrong and there is a callback just say I forgot something, no spoilers.

If you are going to watch Jurassic World u should watch the Jurassic Park’s first. It’s not really necessary but there are references to them so for the best experience you should at least watch the OG ones first. I voted for Dodgeball tho lol
