Titanic

We finally checked out the famous Titanic movie! Hope you guys enjoy our reaction to this iconic film!

Titanic

Comments

The captain is the same actor as Theoden in The Lord of the Rings

Guez

And all the scenes of the titanic last 2hrs 15mins which was the time the titanic sank

Steffan williams

🥹🥲😌

Aathif Ashfak

The abusive narcissistic guy, trying to buy her love…👍

Tripp

Billy Zane was the stud of this movie far more than Leo

Alex

When it comes to tonnage yes, for today's standards Titanic would be considered a mid sized ship, some modern ships are smaller than Titanic when it comes to length, but bigger when it comes to tonnage (the weight). Not trying to start an argument, just some information :)

[KSG]Nick

Cruise ships are ENORMOUSLY larger than the titanic. Like 3x bigger.

Zoe

The footage underwater was actually James Cameron's own footage. He's been down to the Titanic 33 times, and even though the story of Jack and Rose was fictional a lot of the things true did happen like the musicians playing right until the end? The amount of people that went into the ocean versus how many went into the lifeboats the fact that they were short on lifeboats, the basic story of course, And how the third class people were treated while the boat was sinking apparently was pretty accurate, yeah she died at the end. An old woman Warm in her bed surrounded by her photos of her life that she promised Jack she would have

Kim Magee

He's actually been to the Titanic 33 times which is absolutely hard to fathom

Kim Magee

He wasn't even the richest man on the ship. John Jacob Astor was the richest man on the ship. Rose even mentioned that before going to dinner.

Tax2er

This is one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time! So glad you guys finally watched it. I loved re-watching it with you, even if I have seen it 100 times. It never gets old and I still cry my eyes out. The movie was so well done. It captured everything, the magnificence of the ship, the naivety of people believing it was unsinkable, the difference in the way 1st and 3rd class were treated, the heroism of certain individuals and the selfishness of others. Then you submerge this great fictional love story into it, just amazing. You should really check out the making of the movie. I think you will find it interesting. And also, check out some Titanic documentaries. It is such a tragic story. So many things went wrong that led to the sinking and all those people dying. Truly heartbreaking.

Kristy Stevens

The rich dude who asks for a brandy near the end is meant to be Benjamin Guggenheim, richest man in the world at that time

Cole Troutman

wow. that was the first time watching this film and just wow...

Trevor Wright

First time I start crying is when she's looking up at him and he is looking down at her knowing Cal was lying and the music plays

Courtney

‘You’re so stupid, Rose!’ has made me do too much

ChickensAreRacist

You guys murdered this. Well damn done. And thank you.

ChickensAreRacist

Now they get to see parts of the titan submersible too smh

Tia

This is life! I had a life once, the graphics sucked. Rotten tomatoes gave it .01

Annie Bonz

There's so much more stuff they keep finding when they go down to see the titanic

Daniel P Omes

When Rose jumps back onto the ship is top 10 cinema moments of all time

Ron

James Cameron the director behind Avatar Terminator Aliens etc directed this movie

Alex

This movie makes me SOB

puddle possum

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_Nucci That's his friend Fabrizio he has been in a ton of stuff! Love y'alls reaction. I watched it yesterday and now I got y'all on while I clean lol REWATCH!

Annie Bonz

They even did an episode of Mythbusters on the infamous door scene lol

Kayla

Another great story that you guys should check out is the story of the Carpathia. The ship that rescued the survivors. Cause of the time of impact and when the distress calls went out, most ships in the area turned off their communications. Carpathia was the only one to respond but it was too far away to rescue everyone but the story of the Carpathia’s captain is amazing. He sailed as fast as he could to Titantic’s location, ignoring rules and regulations, speeding thru iceberg fields to try to get there as soon as possible. It gets overlooked a lot but if he hadn’t of done that, a lot of the remaining survivors would have perished in the lifeboats.

Marco

This movie got me crying 😭

Jayeeze

Rip Bill Paxton

Courtney

He's also married to the actress who played Rose grand daughter

Courtney

Same

Courtney

I just think of Britney Spears "Oops I Did it Again"

Courtney

Right they both tried and it tipped over so he left her take it

Courtney

This movie had some really good actors in it. I know pretty much all the main and most of the supporting too

Courtney

holy shit

Martin

I am SO stressed watching this movie. They fill me up with love and hope, then they terrify me, stress me out, then make me cry for an hour

Martin

me too mate, for about an hour. i'm exhausted

Martin

What are 2 and 3?

Martin

I saw it in 2012 for the centenary, it was amazing. Those creaking boat noises are terrifying

Martin

Shall I sell this and build ten hospitals? Nah

Martin

It wasn't a lack of space, it wasn't buoyant enough

Martin

I love Leo and Kate's relationship every time you see them together even nearly 30 years later they have such a great friendship and chemistry. They have down a few movies together.

Courtney

I watched Titanic when it was out a few years I was probably 11/12 when it was in VHS and it was on 2 separate tapes aka the good ole days lol. Haven't watched it in years and probably cried more than ever.

Courtney

Same 😭

Asan Lay

Her kids don't need to! That grand daughter sure woulda shared a different opinion lol but I got that's its just a story

Josh Viz

I can’t believe I just watched this whole movie with yall… I’ve gotta get a life 😂

Tj Tito

An the fact they didn't win the Oscar for they performance as young as both of them were . They both got robbed .

Tjbosslyfe

The fact that Kate jumped off that boat to hop back on . An still have Leo not make it. Is such a crazy roller coaster. She a true ride or die.

Tjbosslyfe

It's great to see a movie. Where 3 actors Leo an Kate both were top tier. They both carried their own weight in this movie . An just sum behind the scenes stuff. The hand actually drawing Kate was James Cameron the director not Leo.

Tjbosslyfe

Titanic , Gladiator, terminator 2 all in my top 10 movies all time. This was a masterclass in acting . I tell my dad all the time. This role is the reason Leo dating situation is the way it is. All the ladies watched titanic. I believe he still getting the benefits of this role till this day. That's just my opinion.

Tjbosslyfe

Bernard Hill was an English actor. He was well recognized for playing King Théoden in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, Captain Edward Smith in Titanic.

Valentina Shtrigel

Who the hell put these onions🧄🧄🧄 here?😩😭

Jayden

That chef, he was a real person. Its told that he drank enough alcohol to keep his body warm long enough to survive the freezing atlantic sea to be rescued. As well as the musicians performing until certain death.

Wanedcrecent

Ah that ever so subtle detail of Rose honoring her and Jack’s list of activities they were supposed to do together when they docked. Looks like she did them all alone as we can see her pictured riding horse back with “one leg on each side” not very “lady-like”. He truly did save her from high society life in the end.

ShanB

So happy you guys finally got to witness this beauty of a movie the plot the acting the everything is just amazing, The soundtrack alone is just absolutely breathtaking.

Michael A Daniello

I couldn’t imagine what those people felt. It was pitch black outside. Once them lights went out they couldn’t see anything. All they had was the moon light. In the middle of the ocean waiting for help that never came. This movie uses a beautiful love story to show the worst tragedy. Brilliant work by James Cameron.

Biglo

I think the point is she could have sold it to help her with her life but she never did. she did it on her own.

Oscar C

You should look up the story about the ship that saved over 700 people. They didn’t care about all the ice bergs unlike another ship that was close by and ignored titanics distress signals. The ship that saved them went 2x the speed it originally would with them trying to race to the titanic. They got there in half the time they were originally meant to.

Reeann Craig

2025 the women can make room for us on the door

All See’er

Goated movie

Dreamville Paul2x

LMFAO! You're not lying lol.

Billy the Kid

I can't believe she threw away her grandchildrens future over some homeless D she had 85 years ago 😵‍💫

Josh Viz

I saw this in the theaters 3 times! It was amazing on the big screen!

Becca

Lol

Mark

Yes the clothing the behind the scene, the water scenes and how it was done. it’s an awesome book

Jade

1:26:00 I'm glad you guys think that artwork is magical! You happen to have a professional 3D Artist as a patron! :). If you're curious, you're welcome to see my portfolio. I got my start in 2D drawing from an early age much like Jack's character in this film! https://www.artstation.com/polygon_patriot

Justin Cross

A fun bit of info, a lot of the wreckage footage of the Titanic in the beginning were obviously from a recreated set. However, the footage of the fireplace, when it switches to a monitor and pans down to a white crab/spider.. this is actual footage inside of the real titanic. The director James Cameron did multiple trips and camera drone trips around the wreckage. It currently sits 2.4 miles below sea, more than double the depth of the grand canyon.

Karl King

Maid in manhattan

Mack M

Tape 1 was as a kid

Mack M

Necessary @tripp

Mack M

My second tape is also considerably more worn than first. Well there’s that one part on the first lol

Mack M

I HAVE THAT BOOK TOO. The one where you see all the clothing sketches and shit. I’m doing a history PhD rn and I’m pretty sure it’s cause of this movie. 89 baby.

Mack M

OH IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONEEE

lydia

I saw this movie in summer during covid when I had nothing to watch. it's now my favourite movie of all time and I love it so so much.

ilona

Amazing reaction y’all ! Been so long since I seen this wow

Simon

I had not seen this movie in years and cried like a baby watching this rn. Its always as sad😭

Viivi

Titanic came out when I was 7 years old and I was obsessed, I had the movie on double VHS, the CD soundtrack to the movie and my dad bought me the Titanic book that showed the making of the movie all behind the scene and the titanic model that was used it was incredible what James Cameron did for this movie. Fun fact James Cameron is the one who actually drew the photo of Rose. Also the musicians actually did play for a while but ended up stopping. The bandleader Wallace Hartley’s body was found 2 weeks after the sinking with his violin case strapped to him with the violin still inside. It is now privately owned but gets loaned out to museums from time to time. Out of the 8 members only 3 of their bodies were recovered. Wallace Hartley (Bandmaster/Violinist), John Clarke (Bassist) and Jock Hume (Violinist).

Jade

The ending wasn't a dream.

NYStreetPunisher

Tough luck, Hood44. Sooner or later it’s gonna happen.

Aldo Gonzales

At the end I think it was confirmed that old Rose died “warm in her bed” like Jack said, and that last part was her finally meeting Jack and the other passengers who passed away, in the afterlife. I could be wrong but I think I read that somewhere! *edit* apparently the ending is left deliberately ambiguous — it can be interpreted that she died or that she’s dreaming.

Tia

you guys went crying like I thought you would lol im so embarrassed now cuz I was ugly crying and bawling the whole time and I’ve seen this movie 5 times now 😫😫😫😫😫😭😭

Akila Yaw

Back then Titanic was the biggest and grandest ship in the world but to answer your question about the size, it’s like a sail boat compared to the cruise ships today. There are videos on YouTube that do size comparisons. Plus a lot changed after the sinking, ships were constructed differently and there were safety protocols that were mandatory. It’s a shame but as humans we always gamble until something bad happens. Then we start doing things the right way.

Marco

I was 14 when this came out. Me and my friends saw it multiple times in the theater. It was the most impressive and romantic thing I’d have ever seen and in 1997 no cell phones or apps, it was freaking magical man. What a time. ❤️

Jaime Hernandez

Btw fun fact the musicians who played while the ship was sinking were real people and it’s a true story, they played music till the ship sunk and they died playing

Blabla Blu

saw this movie for the first time somewhere around 2005, i was like 14 or 15 and it made a BIG impression on me. Bawling my eyes out at the tragic scenes, being shocked with the graphic deaths, swooning over the romance wishing i could have a Jack one day (lol) but seriously for a 14 yo girl this was not like any movie I had ever seen before, i remember still thinking about it at school couple a days after! for a rewatch i think you reallyneed to be in a type of mood ya know so i don't watch it often, but i loved watching you guys reaction, thanks for letting me shed a tear and a laugh with you!

T J

I can only help with rom coms.

Alexandria

I've been watching this movie for the better part of 20 years and it never gets old. I cried right along with yall.

Lee

Lame is crazy….This movie made me channel my inner Jake and get my first girl. Master class in getting a women.

Tripp

The utopia is actually bigger than the titanic by a lot lol

Simon

I mean. I would take love and basketball too. Just mix it up.

Tripp

Heartbreaking movie. A true story, in the eyes of 2 fictional characters but realistic. Always makes me tear up thinking about what those people had to go through, and the way the actors did their jobs was truly amazing.

Wanedcrecent

When they are showing the shots of the titanic wreckage underwater. A lot of it is James Cameron’s own footage when he visited the wreckage himself. He’s went down there several times and was one of his reasons for making the film as he thought it would be a nice excuse for him to take a sub down there again.

Night King01

Please no

Hood44

Fun Fact: Writer/director James Cameron is a very talented artist, and the drawing Jack did of Rose was a closeup shot of Cameron sketching

Hiphopopotamus

I have been waiting for this movie for SO long and this reaction did NOT disappoint. It's such an epic story and the way yall experienced it was just perfect ❤️❤️

Geneva Cervantez

I’ve seen this once or twice, never really cared for it but your guys reaction always changes my mind about a movie, so let’s get it 🔥

Simon

This movie never fails to make me cry. Every time I watch it its like I'm transported right back to how it made me feel Many times before.

Mark

I know what happens everytime & yet I still cry

aubs 777

Love this movie, makes me cry every time I watch it

Coral Ridolfo

Damn this movie is an all time classic but damn I forgot it was 3 hours 😭 thank god it’s Saturday

McLovin

The Irish mother around 1:54:50 is the same actress that played Vasquez in Aliens and John Connor's foster mom in Terminator 2...

Ash Lee Can

Agreed. Love story lowkey lame .

Konner Cragun

Unpopular opinion but I only get really interested when the the iceberg hits. Not really a fan of the love story.

Kwisatz Haderach

Right after, “Well, I believe you may get your headlines, Mr. Ismay…” 😆🤓

Kiera Walker

My one pet peeve about this film, especially that it was done so well. The officer on watch yells "hard to starboard" and the helmsman steers the ship to the port instead. And when the officer on watch yells "hard to port" the helmsman steers the ship to the starboard side.

Crimson_Iris

It finally won.

Aldo Gonzales

Can’t wait sit here and cry again

Akila Yaw

Such a good movie, heart wrenching

Super Novice

It's To bad the first mate I.P. Freely didn't spot that ice berg

Aramon

This finally won?! or did you guys finally just do it since it kept getting second and third place? lol

Jonah Bertorelli

This film captured well how frightening it must have been to be on the ship while it went down. The frozen bodies still terrify me to this day

Kwisatz Haderach

All time classic movie. Incredible for its time when it came out and great acting. Every girl I knew growing up was in love with Leo after this haha.

Kevin Matthew

The titanic is actually incredibly smaller than most modern day cruise ships

Tasin Baiju

Please delete this comment, Hamza. No more begging. They’re already doing enough. Don’t forget this is a variety channel.

Aldo Gonzales

Made my century!

Martin

Nope

Martin

Nope

Psycho Rick

Nope

Shut Up Rick

Hamza Abdi

Whew! I remember they had to put this movie on TWO vhs tapes because it was so long. We used to just pop in the second tape 😄...

Ash Lee Can

Im usually not a fan of American animated movies but WALL-E is an exception. Probably my favorite and I know they would love it

David Lynskey

Not my type of genre, but you can appreciate how good this movie was from start to finish. Cinematography and everything was amazing

Raden

I’m gonna continue to suggest WALL-E until it wins, and I need all the help I can get.

Aldo Gonzales

0:19 I agree with you guys. There’s a reason why this movie made of 2 billion dollars in the box office. Now you see why. We definitely need to suggest more romance for the channel, especially because lest we forget you two are now engaged. 💍 Did you know: 20th Century Fox was the sole studio in charge of the movie. However, they had gone over budget and were heavily behind schedule. Therefore, Fox has reached out to Paramount Pictures for help. In exchange for providing them with the resources to finish the movie, Paramount handled distribution of this film here in the States and up in Canada. Fox distributed everywhere else in the world.

Aldo Gonzales

I've never actually sat and watched this film the whole way through, only seen clips, i guess now is my time :D hope you guys enjoyed it!

Jonathon Senft

What a banger of a movie you choose guys. Love you both happy new years and hope many bangers to come.

Bryant Guerrero

I’m a comic book fan at heart, but a good love story is second to none. And it gets no better than this. Iv been campaigning for a good romance for yall. While tragic. This is a start. Btw Romeo and Juliet with Leo is another great one.

Tripp

This made my year!

Morgo

This movie is a masterpiece. Like it or not you have to appreciate the effort and quality that went into this especially in 1997.

Oscar C

This is in my top 3 easily, great movie. Any dudes who think this is a chick flick, its not

Martin

This made my day. I'm about to watch it now on my day off. I saw it twice with my mom when I was a young kid in theaters. Watched the double VHS so many times I can't even count. It really is an incredible movie. James Cameron the director is a sub expert and studied meticulously to get the details of the wreck and events right. (With some hollywood flair of course)
