compared to the slop that gets shoved in our face daily from Hollywood this is what I needed. I watch Venom the last dance last night and compared to that this is a Emmy winning performance.

For me, Thanos and the "shaman" lady are annoying characters played by cringe actors, the pregnant girl and her ex-boyfriend's subplot felt unnecessary, and the writers trying to shoehorn jokes and goofy humor into every other scene gets old fast. All that said, the season does a good job setting things up for Season 3 and the acting from the lead actors (and some of the side characters) is still great.
