I grow up in Croatia and we had every single show or movie in their original language so for me was never difficult to read the subtitles. Then later in life we moved to Germany and here is everything dubbed and I hate that so much. Luckily after few years the streaming platforms came and I could finally watch everything again in original language. For me personally dubbed version is never so good as original but everyone should decide for himself.

Almost all the people I know who watched it watch the dubbed version and didn’t have a problem with it. We have to stop acting like our personal preference is everyone’s preference just to make ourselves seem right

It may have had the same effect for you, but it clearly doesn't for other people, which is why they watch subs. I understand what you're saying, but I have to disagree. When I watch most dubs, it takes away the emotion for me. As for the details part, I can still see everything I need to see to understand what's going on in each scene, which is enough for me personally.

I think most people like to see the original when it comes to dubs/subs, the main reason being the voice acting and more accurate translations, among other things, like voices not matching characters and lip flaps not matching what they're saying in the dubs. Those things may not bother you, but they bother me and the majority of people who watch shows made in another language.

And yet still had the same effect. I’m a person that likes to look for details in shots. Dubbed version allows you to focus more on performance, I can appreciate a performance even if I know the voice I’m hearing is not theirs. You can miss little subtleties with subtitles

Not only is the voice acting not very good compared to the emotions and tone of the Korean actors, the translations have to match the Korean actors mouth movements, which leads to bad translations that lose a lot of nuance. Like in the last season, when Sae-byeok's marble game partner is about to be killed she says "Thanks for playing with me.", which is an accurate translation. The English voice dub has her saying, "I'm honored that we were partners" (fitting the mouth movements better), which is way too formal and not accurate at all to the Korean dialogue.

The actor has uneven eyelids, which makes his right eye look a bit smaller. The difference is exaggerated more when he's making those facial expressions combined with the lighting and angle.

They lost me with this season. Predictable, weak dialogue, cheesy acting (besides the greats we already know). Weak deliveries, recycled characteristics, many flaws in attention to detail and so on. Only good thing bout this season are the games and the Frontman adding more of a unique plot to it.

I think it's a good season if you view it as a "Part 1" for the next season that's coming out in several months, since this season is just putting chess pieces in place for the next season. I don't like the overly comedic tone of this season and some of the side characters are really annoying to watch, but it definitely has some good moments. Also, the plot becomes predictable as the season goes on, whereas in the first season you had no idea what might happen each episode.
