Well Rick did just murder his friend…we don’t know is Andrew saw Tomas do that or not, we just saw him ready to defend his friend, and a stranger murdered him he swung the bat once, poorly at that, then ran away, didn’t try and scrap, then begged to be let back in but Rick coldly locked him out when he could’ve killed him or let him back in & had a talk about it 🤷🏻‍♂️ No matter how people look at it, Rick didn’t make the right call clearly. If he had killed his straight up, this wouldn’t have happened & if he had saved him, good chance it wouldn’t have happened either

That wasn't it because they could have easily created story for Lori. The Rick/Lori relationship alone was still "unfinished". They were literally having a moment where it looked to be pointing towards a positive direction before the walkers came through and everything went to shit. That what makes her death hit extra hard. Hell, being a mother giving birth and raising a newborn baby in a zombie apocalypse is a story in itself. The character are there to evolve. How would they not be able to tell a story of Lori evolving however way should have evolved into if she have stayed alive? To say that they killed her off because there was no story left to tell after Shane would be someone being a lazy writer, let alone an uncreative one...

These rude responses to your comment are dumb and corny(which just reminds me on how honestly stupid and ridiculous this fandom lowkey is) because it IS an important thing that happened. Sure they didn't discuss it, to be fair, there was a lot of unexpected things that happened in one episode and they were clearly still trying to process what just happened, but that doesn't mean what happened wasn't significant. A young boy took it upon himself to shoot his own mother in the head to stop her from turning right after watching her die in a very traumatic, butchering c-section to save his literal baby sister's life. The show even made a deliberate callback to the end of the previous season, flashback and all for the dunces in the back, as a reminder that this moment was coming one day and what Carl took from that conversation with Rick in that scene. But sure, the rude responses for bringing up the fact that it WAS an important moment in the episode they didn't discuss by being defensive by brushing off/dismissive like it's an unimportant thing to discuss is genuinely childish and dumb 🙄...

The last half of the episode when it shows the group broke my heart. First of all T-Dog then Lori sacrificing herself for the baby, Carl having to shoot his mother, the moment when Maggie turns and you hear the sound of the gun shot and Rick's reaction to Lori not making it and realizing Carl had to shoot her. The acting in this episode was amazing. RIP T-Dog and Lori.

Part of what makes this show so great is like Shane said. It's not like it was before. In the modern world we forget about the brutality of our past. Nothing in this show is even close to the death and barbarism of the past. (Obviously without the disease and zombies) without modern conveniences its tribal warfare. It's obviously still happening its just easy to hide it now.

I remember when season 3 was airing (it was the first season I'd watched live) and everyone was talking about Michonne's famous side eye lol. She was very known for it because she did it all of the time lol. It was so epic because she didn't talk much or very intentional when she does speak I guess you can say, very controlled, and very guarded (7 months with Andrea and the latter still doesn't know much). There was this intensity, danger, and mystery around the character, but she had the meanest side eye in the game that did most of the talking for her lol. It was equally intimidating as it was hilarious everytime she's did it. We used to get a lot of gifs and memes out of that lol... I never thought about it, but I guess you CAN say it's the equivalent to the Dale face lol. Actually, just as certain items on the show is associated to specific characters (their signature weapons, a certain article of clothing some of the characters on the show, certain hairstyles, etc), some characters DO have certain physical characteristics that are specific to them. From small ticks (sometimes when you see it, you, the audience, is almost clued in), facial expression like Michonne & Dale. Shane, after he shaved his head, would vigorously rub his head when he was frustrated, usually as he was walking away lol. Rick has a very specific one but I don't think he's done it, or at least not enough for it to be very noticeable. There are even characters speaking a certain way that would be specific to that character. Like the way Rick says "Carl(Coral)" has been a meme for over a decade as an example lol. I wonder if y'all will catch some of these types of things. Which one of ones most of the fandom has already picked up, and maybe even some ones about certain character that most don't notice...
