The Walking Dead (Season 2 - Episode 11)

Hey Rangers, here is another episode of the walking dead. Hope you guys enjoy our reaction!

The Walking Dead (Season 2 - Episode 11)

Comments

For me he was useless and dangerous, kept whining the whole season, literally tried to hide guns, supported releasing a guy that would put the entire group in danger. I’m sorry, he was just a pain to watch, always judging everyone’s actions like he is a moral wizard or something. His moral compass would have killed himself if Andrea just did not care for him. The man spent 10+ episodes stalking people and bitching about everything

Iago

The way dale’s death gutted me and seriously no pun intended, he was such a great character and truly the last real moral compass 💔😔

Tia

how could you hate Dale???

Matthew

This was my favourite death in whole show absolutely hated his character

Jarrod

I've rewatched the show way too many times xD

Roleplex

Rip dale. I really didn’t expect it at all.

Peyton

Carl-I never did what I was told one time-Grimes

Flyin H

To add to that, Shane didn't step up after the barn to put down Sophia, despite causing all that. Rick was the one to stand up and do what was needed.

Jordan Drake

Rip Dale, I forgot to mention it on the Sophia episode from a kid stand point, but this episode is another example…welcome to The Walking Dead where anybody can get got😂

Shalin Carter

Ironically, during the voting of Randall's fate, he said he didnt want to be a part of it. That was his tale-tale of clocking out of the show. But also very symbolic, as he was a true soul. A voice of reason, to continue being humane in an apocalyptic world. His passing, at this point, is the end of humanity. Things are ramping up. So glad to have subscribed. Enjoying all the honest reactions!

Alex Fox

2 eps left*

T Pbh

Season 5 is one of the most liked seasons by actual tv show watchers. Now szn 6 on the other hand

T Pbh

There’s 1 last ep after this but I’m assuming he means the show felt weird without dales opinions and views on things.

T Pbh

Yeah, Frank Darabont is somewhat known for using the same actors. Andrea, Dale and Carol were all in The Mist

Justin M Borowski

I've seen all of it but clocked out mentally after season 7 ish

Bandz

I was so heartbroken for Dale because he thought Glen was definitely going to side with him but I'm glad Andrea did because him dying heartbroken would have been worse. I'm glad Daryl stepped up because I think Dale respected him more than probably Rick.

Courtney

Dale was one of my favorite characters and Daryl was especially after all he did with looking for Sophia. I feel bad that Rick goes through these decisions but be is the leader.

Courtney

I have watched all of it. The first 4 seasons I've more than 4 times and some later seasons maybe 2 times.

Courtney

i just wanna know why carl is strolling through the farm after the sun’s gone and just casually walks to where they’re gonna end randall, like lori cmon watch your kid LMAO

TokyoLopez

I feel like it's almost like a part 1 and 2

xxelerate

Yea I have 2 times, I've seen the first 4 seasons like 4 different times

xxelerate

omg right wasn't the actor who played dale also in the green mile? i recently watched it and now it makes more sense to me since the creator directed that movie, right?

kelly🤍

This walker wouldn’t be there if Carl didn’t bother it when it was stuck in the mud 🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽

Thomarcus Williams

Fun fact, Dale's actor was attached to the creator of the series, Frank Darabont, who also hired the actors who play Andrea and Carol from previous works. Dale's actor requested to be killed off, because AMC fired Frank Darabont, who he had become friends with.

Justin M Borowski

does anyone know when they will drop the final ep for the season??

Fwixy

carl for real sold the bag

Fwixy

i have well upto s10

Fwixy

Analysis without spoilers: There are a lot of details in this episode about the moral dilemmas and the relationships of the group. Because on one hand it's true that maybe Randall was in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong group. Or maybe he really is a danger to them. We truly don't know. Also, Rick starts to feel the burden of being a leader. All the difficult decisions fall on him, he has to be a policeman, judge, lawyer, mediator of everyone's problems. He's trying to balance everything. And Shane keeps putting more and more weight on him, to see if he'll break, or if he'll just give into Shane's mentality. I don't think is coincidence that he's letting Rick be the one to shoot Randall, and also when Dale had to be shot, Shane just turns around even though Rick seems conflicted about the decision. He wants Rick getting overwhelmed. And also, you see how Daryl is the one who takea the gun, he realizes that he had to be be Rick's right-hand man, and intervene in the situation and take that burden off of Rick. I feel like this is the moment where Daryl realizes what Dale was saying early on the episode: his opinion matters, his direction matters. And even though Shane and Rick are the leading duo, Daryl can stand up and intervene. And finally, Carl is just a kid, I mean, at that age we all thought we were older than we really were, and in this world that's enhanced. He was being raised by himself at this point, just observing his Dad and Shane (even Daryl) actions. And I feel like this was the reality check he needed and from here on out you really start to see his development. Also, I just subscribed for twd so you better keep watching ❤️

Izzy tare

He was friends with Frank Durabant and when he got fired he wanted to leave with him. Frank Durabant directed The Mist, movie by Stephen King and he was in it as well as several of Kings movies as well as Laurie Holden

Courtney

I really loved him too. He wasn't afraid to tell it like it is.

Courtney

I'm interested in knowing who here has watched the whole series.

Morgo

I've hated Carl ever since this episode. Give me that "He's just a kid" argument idgaf 😂

Morgo

Yes so true this "new world" isn't normal. First time watching it I have always asked myself what would I do in this situation. And I have to say I was a lot of the time on Shane side, and nobody want to be the leader but we see slowly Rick is taking this position and he makes those difficult decisions. And it is not always easy but sometimes you just have to do everything so that your group can survive.

Josip Buretić

I’d suggest lowering the volume.

Deanna Gonzalez

Dale was too good for that world. Rip Dale.

Deanna Gonzalez

Dale's death is extremely poetic in relation to the groups view on the world. "I won't be a party to it" Dale was too righteous and pure for this new world man. We come across other high moral characters in the show, but not as pure as Dale. RIP Dale

Michael Douglas

Do you mean s3 is weird? I'm confused

xxelerate

I remember watching it week by week shyt was weird after this episode

Neji404

RIP Dale, he was a pure soul

Will

Got teary eyed watching Dale go

Kyle Martinez

Carl out there doing side quests while I don’t think Lori watched Carl even once without pawning him off within five minutes for someone else to watch in the early seasons. NOBODY watched him this episode 🤦🏻‍♂️ Still one of my favorite shows of all time

Travis Dent

Def agree

xxelerate

Dale death is a hit . But the group struggle with making hard cut throat decisions is Now without impediments. The only weakness In the group is that struggle to make harsh decisions an Delle was always that voice of trying to keep peace an be normal but in this world isn't what delle thinks .

Tjbosslyfe

Is Lori still ranked the 8th most hated tv show character of all time?

Travis Dent

Every time something crazy is about to happen: Me: “They bout to get hoe’d y’all” lmaooo

Travis Dent

Such an amazing reaction as always.l! Your reactions/emotions and feelings towards the characters always elevate it to another level!

Travis Dent

I remember watching this episode as a kid. I loved Dale so much as a character. Seeing him die broke me. I was breaking down crying. I couldn’t accept it.

Biglo

I loved dale so much he was too good for the apocalypse.

Aarron Denton

Ughhh as hard as this episode this is the tip of the iceberg

Tyrone Moon

You should definitely watch the next 2 episodes back to back, loving the content so far though

JamesFitz

And still had enough views for 3 spinoffs from the main show don't sound like it got worse to me that's just ur opinion and everyone has them but ik alot of people who love szn 5 thru 11

Kolby Owens

So sad. This is just the start. The next episode is crazy good!

Veliction

There are so many episodes in this series you should post and watch them more often or y’all won’t be done with it till next Christmas lol

Robb

honestly watching it i didn't see dales death coming at all but it is interesting to see what happens next

Perfection Akinwande

Dale death was the first death that hit me hard in this show.

Film Head

So please go for the next movie and two episodes of squid games if you want, but please you gotta see the last 2 episodes of this season back to back

Esteban Pinzón

Bro why can’t they watch this damn child it’s the only one 😂

Jeremy Madera

Eh contervertially it stopped being good after S5. The viewers dropped significantly especially in the newer seasons

Aj rendon

The actor Jeffrey DeMunn actually requested to be killed off because he wanted to stop acting. He was begging to be killed in season 1 but as you said Dale's character had a longer arc and the writers didn't wanna let him go so soon. So sad too cause I loved Dale :(

Geneva Cervantez

Listen I completely understand from a human perspective Dale's pov, but if I'm Daryl I'm telling everyone the story he told me about the dad and his girls. If he didn't tell me that maybe I would be on his side, but after that nope.

Eric W.

I forgot how emotional that ending is RIP 🪦 Dale 😭😭😭

Susie Da Rockstar

Yeah, this one hits hard. I know for a fact that a lot of people dislike Dale so this might be controversial, but I absolutely love his character. Even though he may not be right about everything, I admire how purely good he was and how he cared for everyone. Tough lesson for Carl too, if he had killed that walker or told the group about it, Dale would be alive.

Joshua Markham

I starting hating Carl so much after this episode

Greek Master

dale is a huge loss. smh i’m stunned

TokyoLopez

honestly even though i’ve seen this show before, i had no memory of what happened these last two episodes, so that’s crazy to see this

TokyoLopez

NOOOOOO

TokyoLopez

Plz watch 12 & 13 together !!! 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

Susie Da Rockstar

I forgot how damn good the dialogue in this shows early seasons were. Holy shit

Johnny_Raincloud

Rick rising more and more each episode and Carol starting to speak up |o|

Carol.

dale was a g😣

sxunder

Don’t be disappointed or diminished yall. Still a great show. We still enjoy y’all reactions for this show. So I hope you continue reacting.

Danny

Since Dale is dead I think it's safe to say that Dale was originally supposed to survive a lot longer. Like a couple of seasons more. Not sure what happened behind the scenes but this death was not intended.

Brandon Alexander

I know this is unpopular opinion but I was so annoyed with Dale this episode. I wasn't biggest fan of him but he didn't deserve to go out like this. "sorry, brother"

Josip Buretić

Rip dale😔 amazing reaction

Simon

Yall brace yourselves for this show it's gonna surprise yall so much all the way until szn 11 ep 24 lol

Kolby Owens

In the graphic novel dale lives longer and dies a completely different way, won’t say how he died because they do include that scene in a later season

The_Toasted_Chee

A very brutal lesson for Carl, that’s a massive burden for a 10(?) year old to carry for the rest of his life, damn. Rip Dale, too good for the world 🩵

Senza Nome

Ash, a grocery store in our time should not be compared to a big farm in the zombie apocalypse

Senza Nome

Ayeee I forgot Glenn from Michigan 🔥

Simon

Damn idk why dale death hits the most

AJ Jr

Please release episode 12 today!!!

Excalibur

Dale died sooner than he would have because the actor joined Twd because his good friend was the show runner. AMC fired him because he was mad they gave s2 half the budget of s1. So they just replaced him, which was a big shift He made the Shawshank redemption, green mile. Dude was an amazing storyteller. But yeah the actor didn’t want to continue after they fired him

Cole Troutman

The changing of the showrunners really hurt the show going forward each season because each one has their own different perspective on how the show is run which leads to inconsistent character growth and writing

Theo Sebuliba

this episode always fucked up. dale is one of my favorite characters throughout this whole show.

Trevor Wright

please please im begging you to upgrade your mic. anytime you raise your voice by laughing or screaming it's piercing my ear drums. Other than that the reactions are amazing

fns

The internal dynamics of this show really hurt it. Dale was the first casualty as a result because the actor supported the showrunner that was fired because AMC got cheap with the production. And bad writing. Dale wanders off into a field at night alone and is attacked by a walker that Carl inadvertently led back to the farm because he was left alone to wander off into the woods despite one child dying and Carl himself being shot. Rick and Lori have not been shown to be bad parents prior to the outbreak so why do they suck so bad now? It would have made more sense within the context of the story that Dale listens to his conscience, frees Randle, and Randle kills him, whether out of malice or fear is uncertain in that moment of the story. Sort of a "no good deed goes unpunished" scenario. This would have further obscured the need for humanity within the group, leading to the deepening power struggle between Rick and Shane as they now have to pursue Randle to prevent him returning to his group, which creates further tension. Unfortunately, I probably put more thought into it than the writers did figuring out how to write the character out at the actor's request.

Mitchell Smilie

The father/son moment between Hershel and Glenn is legit wonderful

Shaun Valladares

This is one of those eps that has SO much complex shit going on. Randall is a young adult Maggie’s age getting TORTURED after being with a pretty ruthless group before hand to stay safe. The moral dilemma at this point is SOOO complex & played out phenomenal with the way they directed & shot the whole debate

Jack's World

Last 2 episodes back to back please!!!!

Abel Sanchez

He a kid

JSM -Tac

need the last 2 ep this week!!!!!!!!!!!

Bify

If a kid wants to sneak away, a kid is going to get away. You can lose you child in a grocery store from turning your back and they take off. You think a 11 year old can't sneak away?

Ash Lee Can

I hope they release the last 2 together

Declan Jones

not much of a spoiler but they have a game called the walking dead survival instinct and it takes daryls pov before the group and when he had to kill his dad he said tht same quote and they had tht same camera pov of him saying " sorry brother "

NorthhSZN

Yall gotta give us 2 ep a day😂

Oscar

Hope you do the last 2 this week and don't leave us hanging on a cliffhanger! Love the reactions.

Bblack 118

That's the moment I started hated Carl

Lovelace973

When I was a kid, I glossed over Lori (and Ricks) parenting. but as an adult its insane. Lori cant be that busy to not have an eye on Carl at all times lol. Always handing off to be baby sat by randos. And after the gunshot and sophia, it should never happen again and yet it keeps happening lol

jblakk

loved dale.

JWJ

Lori needs to start watching her damn child!

Shaniya

So, Dale’s death was really one of the first MAJOR deviations the show made from the comics. Dale lived longer in the comics, but his actor, Jeffrey DeMunn, was good friends with Frank Darabont, the show’s co-creator and showrunner. Darabont got fired during season 2’s production, so DeMunn asked to be killed off.

Nicholas Obici

I wouldn't have let the guy live. He knows too much . Rick still growing as a leader .

Tjbosslyfe

Shayne like the little devil on the shoulder bringing out everybody dark side in the group . Rick in charge ,but Shayne behind the scenes making moves.

Tjbosslyfe

Carl practically raising himself. He taking what he learned from Shayne an trying to act like a adult. The death of Dell He acted like a kid with the realization hit him about Dell tragic death.

Tjbosslyfe

Dell was whistling in the grave yard . First watch I didn't agree with Dell. I thought he doesn't want to except reality of the world they live in now . The new world they in now will eat people like Dell alive. He lives with the group so he hasn't really had to face that harsh reality yet .

Tjbosslyfe

Walking dead like game of thrones . Nobody safe.

Tjbosslyfe

Lorrie please watch Carl . She looking like where you been idk momma never watch me . Carl was shot , then he will responsible for Dell death a lot of weight to put on a kid .

Tjbosslyfe

Man I hope they finish the season this week, loving these reactions

Raden

“This new world is ugly, it’s harsh, and that’s a world I don’t wanna live in” he spoke it into existence ): poor dale was too good for the new world

xbvideos

Man yalls silence at the end says it all. Another hard lesson this time for Carl to learn.

Mark

Please do the next ones back to back

Janiyah

Dale was not the last voice of reason. Glenn is a major voice of reason. He is always about holding onto their humanity. You will see. And may I say, this one is not really on Carl, it is on Lori. Carl is a CHILD! If that was my kid, living in a world with walkers that can kill you at a moment's turn and especially after my child was shot, he would never leave my sight. She tells him to stay put and he never does. And she never seems concerned about where he has gone. Hell, half the time she doesn't realize he is missing. This is on her! And this is hard lesson for Carl to learn, but one that obviously needs to be learned, our actions have consequences, terrible consequences. People can die from stupid choices, like wondering off in the woods and messing with a walker. So sad, I still cry when I watch Dale die. Props to Daryl for taking the gun from Rick, a beautiful moment.

Kristy Stevens

The best one of the whole show

Jason Olguin

Next episode

Jason Olguin

Also you should just let them have their own opinion and thoughts because it’s a first time watch for them, we have the luxury of already watching the show, so we know what happens, they don’t, so just be patient

Theo Sebuliba

The last 2 episodes of this season will sway them towards Rick I feel, they’ll see for themselves

Theo Sebuliba

Next episode!!

Joshua Johnson

y'all were totally fine with Shane trying to kill Randall right away last episode, but when Dale speaks up y'all understand his and Rick's thought process all of a sudden lol. Rick handled the situation like a leader like always, y'all will come around tho.

s0l0 !

agree

Brian Marroquín

Brian Marroquín

ANKIT SINGH RATHORE

Jose Hernandez

Reseigh

i agree

Reseigh

12/13 back to back? Please 🥹

Static

How Daryl took that preassure from Rick by shooting Dayle was beautiful. Rick was struggling.

Brian Marroquín

One of the saddest deaths man

james moore

I think Dale’s death will be a harsh reminder to Carl that actions have consequences, and that what he did with that Walker caused Dale to die. His stupidity for playing around got someone killed, what bigger of a lesson could there be. RIP Dale. He was a real one, one of the only morally clear and wise characters. I miss him 💔

Ronan

I belive Dayle died because the actor dind't want or couldn't go further with season 3. It was never planned by them.

Brian Marroquín

Can’t wait to watch this 🔥

Simon

Definitely a rough episode.

John Snetzler

I loved when Dale pointed out that they were punishing Randall for a crime he hasn't even committed-- that needed to be said. I loved Dale.

Lee

Nah y’all gotta go the next two episodes together in one video

Brandon wheatt

I love the ending.

Fernando M

Reminding us that no one's safe. RIP Dale

Savannah Smith

Okay we NEED that next episode assp please lmao, best episode of the season and one of my favorites of the entire series!

MajorMayhem

Look who stepped up when Rick couldn’t put Dale down. Notice who didn’t step up….

Marco

PLEASE BACK TO BACK :( I BEG

Frank Quintanilla

Right Carl is like 9 and he’s restless aswell and I think he’s still trying to process losing Sophia aswell because they were the same age

Theo Sebuliba

And I know yall might be pissed off at Carl this episode but to be fair he is a kid he’s gonna be dumb curious and impressionable

Sllumpy

“ Im sorry Brother”😔

Jesus Campos

You know I agree with Dale on fighting for survival isn't the only thing you should fight for, in his case it was his humanity. I guess you can say Dale was "TAINTED MEAT", haaha I'll show myself the door.

Aramon

I can't tell you how much I love Daryl taking Rick's gun and taking over the duty of putting Dale down

Kwisatz Haderach

Sad thing about Dale's death is that he was originally going to live longer. But after Frank Darabont (season 1's director) was fired, the actor wanted to go too.

Kwisatz Haderach

Let’s gooo I didn’t expect a episode to come out today from yall 😲

Sutokurii

Bye bye Dale, he tried to hold onto his humanity. I wonder how he would have fared in future seasons. That humanity shit probably would have quickly gone away

Jihad Lee

Back in the day when this first released I was happy Dale died. He was getting annoying and just getting into everyone’s business. But rewatching it now it’s definitely sad.

Oscar C

When Daryl said “if his people come here our boys will be dead and the women will wish they were” should have been the end of the conversation. The guy told a story about he and his friends raping minors in front of their dad, and Dales fighting for him. Bye Dale, won’t miss you.

Tori

It's comimg rick's prime trow season 3 4 and 5

Andres

should do 12-13 back to back honestly

Chino Sanchez

Dale was wrong about it being a choice to keep your humanity in this world humanity gets you killed it’s no longer a choice survival of the fittest

Sllumpy

NAH WE NEED THE NEXT EP RNN

Zdrslayer
