2024-12-17 21:11:02 +0000 UTCHonestly, the show is a real slog for like three seasons in the middle, but the first three seasons are great and are what I signed up to watch along with them (four is just okay for me). After that, it's like "And now let's watch a slow-moving story of Rick defending his group from this season's newest group of bad guys while dealing with some conflicts within his own group." and it gets repetitive/boring overall. Also, the writing in the show starts to fall apart as bad show runners take over and things get based less on the comic books.

2024-12-16 22:15:06 +0000 UTCI know the screen time didn't line up, so everyone panics thinking "oh my gosh the rope didn't cut, they're both going to fall" but in my mind, I feel like they cut the rope just as fast in both instances, we just see it take longer because that's how long it would feel in that scenario, what was almost an instant rope cut felt like an eternity and that short small tug from the rope being tight and them starting to pull the other team by hanging lingers there in slow motion, because that's how someone tied to that rope would experience it.

It shows that he has PTSD which has probably gone undiagnosed and not managed and it’s how he spiralled and ended up where he is in life. He wasn’t just some lazy selfish bum.
