Nah disagree also the fact that this story takes place in china rather than japan that's crazy lol. This kid was learning kung fu not karate 😆. To be fair both kung fu (China) and karate (Japan) support the category martial arts.

@AJ Jr have you ever tried watching the original film? I agree with Anthony Lawrence the original will have many reasons as to why it stands out more vs the remake. I don't want to spoil anything for you. Just check it out it's free to watch on youtube lol. Once you watch it then you will understand the hype just check it out. Also Cobra Kai is on it's last season tune in.

Loved this movie, the car scene always gets me 😢 Jackie chan and Taraji P Henson are great actors. I like Dre's character.🤩🤩 Will Smith was tough on Jaden, training and stunts while going to school. Jaden Smith got 2 movies with Will. Pursuit of happiness and "After Earth" (2013) is the second one, I didn't like it. Nice to watch it again with your reaction loved it. 👍🤩

The kid who was forced to mess up Dre’s leg is also the kid who told the bully to take it easy, so he really didn’t want to have to do that to him at the end but he was scared of his coach

I’m glad you guys liked this movie! Jaden’s acting in this is great, I’m also glad you checked out the extended version but the thing I was afraid of was there would be no subtitles. Sometimes streaming platforms don’t have them and I never know why. Here I was with a comment all spelled out for you guys with what was said in chinese from the whole movie and then you turned em on lol that’s just my luck😂 I’ll skim thru some of the things you missed tho before you turned them on. The bullies were taught “No weakness, No Pain, No Mercy” and when the 6 bullies were beating them up, the one kid did try to stop Cheng. Cheng then said “remember what we were taught?” and said that phrase. Mr. Han also kept telling the bullies to go home. That’s what he said when he grabbed Cheng’s arm before he could punch Dre. Then he said it again at the very end of the fight. This movie is a great remake!
