JSM, I agree, the fighting is technically better in the 2010 Karate Kid, but for me, the story is better in the original. It's not because it's the original, but just because for me the story in the 2010 one fell a bit flat. This is just my opinion, but personally, story trumps action. I do really like the music in both movies, though, if for different reasons.

@shaun my guy the 2010 is literally better in EVERY aspect. I’m not saying the original is bad either, but the 2010 is especially better in terms of fighting, intensity, atmosphere, acting and so on. Numbers also don’t lie either. The remake did absolute NUMBERS. You could combine like all the originals together in box office gross and it wouldn’t add up to the remake💀. The remake is just overall better and that’s a fact. We get it lmao. It’s the original, but just cause it’s the original dosen’t mean the remake can’t be better.

Yeah I can understand why people like the original more which is 100% fair, but to say the 2010 version is trash is a flat out lie. It’s a very heartfelt and emotional movie and the action is awesome. Jaden did all of his own stunts too and trained hard. The fight scenes were way more brutal than any of the previous Karate Kid films and Cobra Kai combined. You almost forget that you’re watching 12-15 year olds fighting with how brutal it is
