Woodie has been helping and obsessing over Andy (this made him obsess with Bonnie by default) so it’s good to see him moving on with Bo. I also enjoy the addition of sporky and the other new toys. Only dislikes about the movie? I feel like Buzz character is more naive and dumber than he was before (and that’s saying a lot). Mr potato head got sidelined HARD and he always had some funny dialogue in the OG movies. Definitely a strong 8/10 I’d say.

2024-11-12 17:03:27 +0000 UTCYesss I actually really enjoyed this movie a lot even though the 3rd one is still the best my favorite one I do feel like the movie wrapped up woody’s story very well and his journey with the gang whereas the third one wrapped up Andy’s story and the characters journey with him and I have no idea what they’re gonna do for this fifth one coming out soon but I guess we’ll see that being said I did like seeing Bo peep again and them explaining her not being in the last one and her and woody’s relationship is adorable anyways great reaction 😍💯

In the meantime, we gotta suggest more Pixar for the channel. 54:45 Tin Toy is the star of his own Pixar short which was made before we even got the first Toy Story. Admittedly this isn’t my favorite in the franchise. I actually agree with you, Shoshana. The third movie did feel like the perfect closure. If anything, I went to see mostly out of nostalgia and for the purpose of continuity. My mom enjoyed it more than I did. However, one of the reasons I still wanted you guys to check it out was the all-star cast: • Duke Caboom was voiced by none other than Keanu Reeves • Christina Hendricks voiced Gabby Gabby, the first Toy Story villain to be redeemed (without counting Sid) • Tony Hale voiced Forky • Ally Maki voiced Giggle McDimples • 43:10 ding ding ding!!! You guys got it right!!! Ducky and Bunny were voiced by none other than Key and Peele. Their reunion in this film is a kid-friendly take on their comedy. • We also had cameos from Mel Brooks, Carol Burnett, Bill Hader, Flea, and Rickey Henderson. And finally, I would like to acknowledge some actors in this movie who have now passed on. • First, we have the voices of our Potato Heads. Don Rickles has been at the heart of the franchise from the beginning. Unfortunately, he passed away in April 2017 when the script was still being written and he wasn’t able to record any new lines for Mr. Potato Head. The production crew over at Pixar didn’t want to recast him, but they also didn’t want to leave him out of the movie. So with permission from Mr. Rickles’ family, they were allowed to use audio files that he had recorded for his character over the years. He didn’t have a lot of lines in this movie as a result, but his presence is still there. Mr. Rickles was 90 years old, and this movie was dedicated to him. Estelle Harris was still with us for this movie, but this would be her final time voicing Mrs. Potato Head. This movie was also one of her final roles before retiring in 2019. Mrs. Harris passed away in April 2022 at 93 years old. • Betty White and Carl Reiner also made voice cameos in this film. Mrs. White passed on almost 3 years ago at the age of 99, and Mr. Reiner passed on in June 2020 at 98. • And we have one final major name to acknowledge: the legendary Carl Weathers as the voice of the Combat Carls (quite fitting). He was best known for his role in the Rocky franchise which still needs to win on this channel, but in his final years he also appeared in a certain show that for so many reasons I feel you guys would enjoy. Mr. Weathers passed away in February of this year at 76 years old.
