I can write out a list of things that I see wrong with Marvel if you really want that. I'd prefer to spend my time doing something else, but if you're really that interested in it and in the spirit of conversation, I can do that. But my guess is that you're emotionally invested in the MCU (as I once was) and won't take anything I say into account so why waste the time? And the tricky thing about emotional investments is that when things go wrong, our investment won't allow us to look at things objectively. So, we make excuses and stick our fingers in our ears. Fortunately, time and maturity aid us in reaching a more measured response to criticism of that which we love the most.

Not sure exactly what you're saying in your second comment so I'm going to assume you're saying I don't like the current state of the MCU, but I continue viewing it. Well yes, I don't feel like I can adequately critique something if I don't watch it. But the viewership numbers are declining, likely because viewers aren't enjoying the show and stop watching. The millions of dollars that Marvel/Disney has been losing in Disney+ subscribers and at the box office the last 4-5 years doesn't suggest the MCU is relevant. How many movie companies are there now, Jamie? I'm not sure if you've been keeping attention, but the major media landscape has been radically diminished in the last 20-30 years. In fact, it was Disney swallowing 20th Century Fox that led to its only recent hit in Deadpool and Wolverine, which was more a sympathetic goodbye to the Fox Marvel franchises than anything to do with the MCU. But sure, feel free to keep sending angry comments to little ol' me. If you like this stuff, like it, I don't care. But just know that you're in a growing minority of people that do based on the numbers.

I saw a post about it saying that in an official marvel canon book it said that wanda is dead but just our mcu version they could bring back a new one from a different universe or retcon that she is dead since it was just said in a book.

We should get Agatha to remove the term woke from existence using some of her magic. With both Agatha All Along and The Penguin releasing in the same week, it's been a blast. Highly recommend checking out The Penguin as well, great series just two episodes in so far.

The intro looks like the intro to the show True Detective. Agatha's conversation with Herb as she's walking to the crime scene is a parallel for the question fans keep asking Marvel--Is Wanda really dead? This show takes place 3 years after WandaVision

2024-10-05 14:13:27 +0000 UTCThe first two episodes are a little slow, but episode three is when it starts to pick up. That’s exactly how it was with WandaVision. In fact, the headwriter Jac Schaeffer worked on both. I think we can trust her. It’s kinda funny how Wanda was living her life through sitcoms and here we have Agatha starting out with a murder mystery. For what it’s worth, it might’ve been interesting to see it play out. I should remind you that Kathryn Hahn is also the voice of Doc Ock in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.
