He and Fisk say that the city needs them, but it’s for different reasons. Fisk wants to change it into what he envisions, but at the expense of a lot of people’s lives. Matt is trying to save it even at the expense of his own life. 35:04 by the way, Chadwick Boseman portrayed Thurgood Marshall in a biopic he starred. Just letting you know.

2024-09-06 15:26:40 +0000 UTCYeah Vince is spot on about the battle that goes on in Matt’s soul. It’s the “devil” inside of him. Matt mentions this exact feeling to the priest in the first scene of episode one when he says that his grandma used to say that “Be careful of the Murdock boys, they have the devil in them” He didn’t understand how his father could transform into a different person in the ring at the time but now he does. It’s also so fascinating because then you add on the fact that he’s a devout Catholic so it’s like there’s an angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other. Anyway this is a long ass comment so yeah this is a great show and this was a great reaction
