Comedy reactions are inherently FAR FAR better than any other genre just given the nature of what reactions are. Laughing with people even through a screen is drastically better than following some serious fictional crap that you already know the swerve and outcome of.

Nice after watching War of The Worlds BACK TO THE FUTURE: A franchise that inspired many films and open the door to new era in science fiction. Probably biggest science fiction movie from the 80s. At least the 1st one is a must see before you die ROCKY: Biggest boxing movie and biggest Silvester Stallone franchise. Also biggest Arnold Schwarzenegger's competition for Terminator movies. At least the first 2-3 are a must watch BAD BOYS: Action packed movie and very funny and entertaining movie by Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Good plot, car chases, cartels, explosions, etc. A classic. The first 2 are a must watch THE INCREDIBLES: Probably the best movie by Pixar. Superhero family movie, funny, filled with action, lots of appreciations for parents and families. Nice unique cool heartwarming animation HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: Cute movie. Very nice and unique. The first one is very much recommended at some point FRIDAY: Very funny. Ice Cube's favorite movie lol. Really cool background movie for a lot of references if you smoke or like Ice Cube and Chris Tucker GROWN UPS: The great and only Adam Sandler makes another funny goofy movie with his friends that always hangs out with. Way funnier if you're actually middle aged or have kids

You can appease everyone if you treat the two communities in here as separate. Their patreon subscribers are filled with the most bizarre tastes I've ever seen. I'm going to continue to support too because Breaking Bad is goated but I don't expect to ever watch them react to a film. It would be much less worse if actual cinema wasn't listed in the polls against garbage like Jack and Jill or Y/A like Hunger Games. Yes yes, every time someone points all this out, someone comes in to say everyone's tastes are different etc etc etc. But what it looks like is Vince and Shoshanna need to set aside a poll for movies, and a separate poll for the community's beloved comedies. But even then, Transformers will win over some Tarantino or Fincher film.

But when they were animated kids movies had a huge run of almost every time. They have been watching adult movies lately because ppl were tired of the kid comedies winning over better adult movies. Whenever a family movie or non adult comedy was on the poll most of the time it was either number 1 or 2 despite what other movies are on there…that is a pattern to me.

On these polls notice how whatever selection jumps out in front in the first 10 minutes. It’s almost always wins. If that’s at 200 votes, by the time you get to 1000 votes. There should be fluctuation…it makes zero analytical or statistical sense. .

2024-08-04 22:58:58 +0000 UTCI’ve been with them since October of 2022, I feel like they’ve already watched most of the heavy hitters earlier, honestly if you look at their earlier videos on the channel, it was predominantly war movies and series mixed with anime,they were also a smaller channel compared to now and as your audience expands, you have to pivot where the audience wants, they’re the ones watching the movies and tv shows, not us, we just watch for the reaction
