Nah definitely not multi step because you would have the same problem we have now. Comedy genre would win the majority of the time. In my opinion it should just be kept simple. Each week a different genre. So you ask patrons to recommend Comedy genre films this week and make a poll from those top suggestions. Then next week Drama and make a poll from those suggestion. Then the week after Action/Adventure. Etc. The thing is you can merge genres for the polls so its not as restrictive either. Like Crime/Thriller or War/Drama. Thats what i think. Hopefully my explanation didnt come across as complicated.

I've seen it three times in my life years apart, and it has always held up. It's known as a long movie, but it moves fast. James Cameron doesn't dawdle (except maybe avatar 2)

I think your issue is that you think this is a poll for best movie. It's not. We are voting for what we want to see a reaction to. Oppenheimer is a better movie than Pineapple express, but it's a slow burn, thinker. It doesn't elicit reactions. Also, we aren't subscribed to this channel to explore cinema. I saw Oppenheimer in IMAX, I flew to a different continent for a better screen. But I know if I'm gonna rewatch Oppenheimer, it is certainly NOT going to be in the form of a reaction video. When I get together with buddies (and that's what this channel is) I want to watch something FUN, not GREAT

I agree with you on Titanic but figured no one would watch that long of a historical/romance film. I will always love due to it being my first date with my husband. It just follows the same stuff said about Oppenheimer, long, lots of talking...hell wasn't DiCaprio in Oppenheimer? I think right now people are butt hurt and Rejection is the name of the game. It will blow over. I hope you do get it up, so worth it. I cried like a hysterical child.... he STILL wanted to date me after.

Genre Polls would be great but as trip said "bad movies" is an opinion. I'm not massively into the Scary Movie films however, I can understand after watching the first one and many enjoying the reaction people would want them to finish the series the same way Pineapple express probably won because they've started the Seth Rogan comedies and people want to see them watch the others but at the end of the day those are limited in number so once finished very soon more variety/other types of films will probably feature.

Also, not to say Oppenheimer isn't a good film, but I don't think a reaction would be that interesting. It's a slow, talkie movie with few stand-out moments imo. It's a film you appreciate more as a whole rather than it's individual moments.

I agree, genre polls are definitely needed. I think this will all improve once they finish the two shows. Currently, the shows are taking up over half the week, so once they finish those we should have much more time for individual movies and genre polls. This is another reason why I hope they don't do Better Call Saul. That show is just too long and I think the majority of the audience isn't interested in it.

It has been a rough few months I think it’s the watching 2 shows at once that kinda messed up the diversity. Before the shows started a a lot of us knew it would take forever to finish and that would mean less variety, on top of the scary movie franchise (comedy) winning the poll and even the polls in between are still comedy. I’m hanging on after the shows to see what direction we go in but I absolutely get what your saying

The majority of my frustration isn’t that Oppenheimer didn’t win. It’s that this has been the status quo for months now. A bunch of bad movies with a few really good ones mixed in. The bad ones almost always win. It’s tiring because it’s not even an overwhelming majority that keeps picking the bad movies but it continues to happen.

I’ve been a long-time supporter and was genuinely excited about the potential return to diverse content and was waiting to see the results of this next poll. However, I’m really disappointed to see the shift back to movies I don’t enjoy. I get that Vince and Shoshana need to cater to the majority, but the small majority seems to favor bad comedies and bad dramas. Seeing Pineapple Express win over Oppenheimer in the latest poll is the last straw for me. It’s frustrating because I love supporting creators I admire, but clearly, my tastes don’t align with the current direction. Waiting this long for genre polls feels like a legitimate mistake, and it’s too little too late for me. I genuinely wish Vince and Shoshana well, but I honestly don't think this channel is for me. I’m looking for creators who like to diversify their content and cater to a broader range of tastes.

I've seen Pineapple Express, not really a good movie although I like all of their movies. Titanic is a MUST. If you really haven't seen it, it's a work of art. I saw Oppenheimer and it's SLOW, really slow and very difficult to understand because of the amount of characters.

My vote is going to Oppenheimer. I haven't seen Pineapple Express, but those type of American comedy movies are often hit or miss. Except Step Brothers, its GOATED. See a lot of oppenheimer hate in the comments. "Bad reaction movie", "only dialog". Comon the whole thing is an experience. The message, music, cinematography, amazing dialog, the stakes, love, actually learning about an historic event that changed the world!

Just voicing my opinion wasn't trying to go down any road. Just because something is a bit slow doesent mean it's boring for everyone and that's ok. I will still watch every movie that gets chosen no matter what it is because I like to see Vince and Shoshannas thoughts on everything. Even stuff they don't like.
