2024-08-26 14:13:03 +0000 UTCYeah, ‘she chose to’ while technically true, you watch her slowly getting manipulated and lied to nod backed into corners. She was groomed into doing it, even if that wasn’t what Walt was trying to do. People who stay in abusive relationships and ‘choose’ to protect their partners can’t really be judged that hard. We’re humans, and unfortunately our brains can be manipulated. That doesn’t necessarily absolve someone from guilt, but I certainly don’t lose my sympathy.

But what I do appreciate is that he recognizes his faults and wants to do better, unlike someone like Walt or Todd who just doesn’t care what problems their actions cause. And to me that makes them way worse than Jesse.

Like his immediate hypocrisy which I think he then understands. He is wiser after reflecting on things by now and as you said, has a change of heart. A change of heart doesn't change what he's done and I believe he understands that. I don't question he is more morally sound at all. I could further what I'm saying but I think it would have spoilers

Not to mention he missed out on that Grey matter company financial skyrocket, so before he dies or gets arrested he’s going to make as much money as he can. Yes the 5 mill is more than enough if he had a normal life but at his state he wants to make his empire as big as possible.

We know Jesse is bad, he’s just clearly more morally sound than Todd and Walter. Even the creator of the show thinks that, said it in one of the episode commentaries. 2024-07-15 21:31:29 +0000 UTCTodd is a hero. He saw a kid collecting tarantulas and understood this kid would be a future psychopath, so he shot him and probably saved a lot of lives and hassle. Seriously though, is Jesse knowingly cooking meth and perpetuating the awful life that comes with the consumer THAT much better than Todd doing what he was told and shooting the kid (awful, of course). We saw Jesse come face to face with a kid who was living in squalor due to the meth Jesse indirectly provided for his parents. Since then, he's chosen to kick it up a notch... How many more kids is he indirectly ruining the lives of now? But it's okay because it's not in their area. I just don't think Jesse was as morally sound as he thinks he is up to this point.

Right now, all of this is to feed his ego. 5 million dollars is more than enough, he only wants more just to make himself feel better. I doubt he’s thinking of his cancer returning or being separated from his family at this point, it’s strictly to prove himself. Of course I’d rather not have a boring ending, which it’s not one. I’m speaking strictly of how psycho Walt is.

2024-07-15 03:49:33 +0000 UTCI don’t think Skyler telling Hank about Walter being a meth dealer would’ve worked, remember at the time he was still dealing with the cartel and gus and was almost killed by the twins, so all of season 3 and 4 was Hank recovering from that incident, plus I’m not sure Hank would’ve even believed her because she didn’t have enough evidence to prove that Walt was guilty

2024-07-15 02:51:55 +0000 UTCAlso Walt did sign the divorce papers and was going to go cook meth, but Walt kept trying to move back in the house and make things work with his family instead of just staying at that apartment and leaving his family out of the business, he could’ve just split time between the apartment and the home and he could’ve kept his family from being harmed or threatened, now she’s pretty much stuck because Walt thinks that this is all fun and games now and is becoming more crazier by the minute

Like can you really blame her for that 😂 It wasn’t until she realized that her husband was a MURDERER, that things really started to click for her. Now the same feelings from when she first found out are amplified. I still feel bad for her and will continue too! Anyone who’s married to walter freakin white deserves sympathy just for being with him. Sorry not sorry 😭 never will understand hate on her nor Jesse lol

(entertainment reasons only), and if you don't like walt you would still rather see him go down in flames by continuing the business instead of getting the good/boring ending where he gives up this lifestyle.

If you were to add up all of Walt's 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree murders, kidnappings and assaults and compare them to Skylar's offenses, it's not even close. Don't get me wrong, they're both bad people, but Walt is on a whole other level.

I thought it was funny but it does kind of call back to earlier seasons when Walt would panic over Jesse even calling the house. The earlier seasons had more of a natural comedy to them in the beginning, then the show develops into being very serious and more on the thriller, tragedy side.
