Breaking Bad (Season 5 - Episode 3)

Hey Rangers, here is another episode of breaking bad hope you guys enjoy!

Breaking Bad (Season 5 - Episode 3)

Comments

Honesty that “five-0” episode of BCS is one of my favorite of both shows

Cole Troutman

We see Walt tell Jesse, "lies create barriers between people." This point is illustrated when Skylar erupts in front of Marie. She cannot tell her sister the truth; a barrier has been created so all she can do is break down in frustration.

Jason Murillo

U see more of Mike in “better call Saul”

The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.

Parody of God father 😭😭😭🤣

Omg is Jesse just a child not capable of making his own decisions? Walt never told Jesse to break up with her, that was his choice. He simply said that secrets will create barriers between people, as he knows. I bet Andrea would even stay with Jesse if he told her, I mean she already did know he was into something and had no problem bringing Brock over to his house. I think this was actually one of the few times Walt's love for Jesse actually came through. Like a father telling his son not to make the same mistakes he did. People like you see everything Walt does as manipulation. Let me guess, running over those gangbangers was also manipulation? What about the time he refused to give Jesse his money when he was getting high on heroin? Or what about the time Walt paid for his rehab? All that was manipulation too I bet, just to keep him under control. Ridiculous.

TyPan

That makes sense. I’ve never seen the godfather lol

Ben Gibb

yeah fuck Skyler

Sean Carroll

they were never technically divorced as Skyler never submitted the divorce papers

Sean Carroll

same actor Al Pacino, thats where the confusion for them came

Sean Carroll

Yall havent watched Scarface???? you need to react to it, truly a gem

Ron

Walter and his freakin manipulation. He manipulated Jesse to breakup with Andrea so that he wouldn’t have another Jane situation, taking his focus away. It’s messed up and selfish.

Tianna

Y’all have been calling Andrea ‘Angela’ for like 2 seasons lmao. Walt 100% manipulated Jesse into breaking up with Andrea. He dresses it up as concern for/trust in Jesse, but it really just serves Walt’s own ends.

Marie: I'm not leaving here until you explain. Walt: Sooo Ted cucked me and- Marie: I'm gonna go.

Martin

Yeah, and that was really Pete's actor playing it instead of an overdub. A fun bit of trivia is that the actor played piano a lot when he was younger, but hadn't played in a while, so he practiced a ton to learn the song he played in this episode, since he thought it was going to be a more extended scene. But then when he watched the episode, he realized they cut out almost all of his performance. Haha

Jeff I.

Great reaction guys!

Simon

No that’s not god father that’s scar face! Probably my favorite crime movie y’all gotta watch it one day!

Simon

I actually don’t hate Marie as much as you do, but she can definitely be very annoying, she’s not in the show enough to make me completely hate her though

Theo Sebuliba

I'm gonna save my usual Walter slander for the next episode since you guys pretty much covered it already. Skylar telling Marie to shut up has been something I was hoping someone was going to do since S1E1. I just wish it hadn't come as the result of a nervous breakdown. That scene is always hard to watch😬 Ted, by far, is the most insufferable character on this show for me, but Marie is a close second. Her... "Karenacity" was on full display in all its glory in this episode. Her yelling at the car wash cleaners alone was annoying every fiber of my being 😡🤬🤣

Yess... Cuban B

Let's be honest, Walt telling Marie about Skyler cheating is something every guy in Walt's position would love to do.

TyPan

Not going to lie I can't remember if they were officially divorced when she slept with Ted. I think they were still married technically. Jessie was a drug attic most of the early seasons . People on drugs struggle to make it day by day. It make since he took long to develop. Most drug attics never get better or get they lives together. This organize crime . Jessie breaking up with them don't make them safe. People can still use them to get to Jessie.

Tjbosslyfe

Skinny Pete perfectly playing the piano is such a sad small detail, showing what could have been had he not gotten involved with drugs.

When it comes to your comment at the end with tv shows, they only get dragged out when the story hasn’t progressed at all, some shows like breaking bad take time for the characters to get to where they are and some other shows would drag it out, it also depends on the writers on how they want to craft their story, the thing I like about breaking bad is that it didn’t instantly turn Walt into Heisenberg it would’ve been too early, the story with Gus and the cartel was to show that there’s bigger players in the drug game and Walt was way in over his head, so when Gus is killed by Walt, he realizes that he has the power and control and that’s where Heisenberg comes in and Jesse starts to become a better character for it, it’s your first time watching so I’ll let you see how the story plays out in this season

Theo Sebuliba

You also gotta remember that this show is old you gotta be patient with the progression of the story it makes sense with Walt that it took till season 5 for him to become Heisenberg, he doesn’t have to deal with gus or the cartel, now when it comes to Jesse, I feel like now he’s going to turn a new leaf and be the moral compass for Walter white

Theo Sebuliba

I thought it was crazy the things Walt was saying to Jesse when they were sitting on the couch in their cook suits. About secrets, and how they become apart of you when he’s literally holding the biggest secret of the show at this point from Jesse.

Terry

That was Scarface, has nothing to do with the godfather. You guys should definitely watch it

Ben Gibb

If Walter just had a supporting wife ...

Dan Sopranos

Yeah you’re right

Martin

Kind of a spoiler ngl

Kayleb Patel

You guys HAVE to see Scarface. A true classic.

Erik Gonzalez

Edit: I think you’ll enjoy Better Call Saul for the characters

Martin

I actually interpreted the end as a threat towards not only Mike but in a small way Jesse as well. Like DeNiro said in heat "don't get involved with anything your not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat when the heat is around the corner"

Mark

Excited to watch later!!

Tianna

Episode 10 of this season is named after the poem Ozymandias by Percy Shelley. It's a great poem, and the episode has an averaging user rating of 10.0/10.0 on IMDB from over 200,000 voters. Ozymandias I met a traveller from an antique land Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed: And on the pedestal these words appear: "My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!" No thing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away.
