I enjoy Walt as a character. He’s written and portrayed amazingly. As a person, not in the least.

This is something many people overlook about Mike. He's a cool character, I agree, but he's in a lot of ways like Jesse when it comes to loyalty. He has a problem killing x amount of witnesses that could potentially burn them all down, but has no problem standing beside Gus when he threatens to kill Walts's entire family who are innocents. You see this in Better Call Saul as well where (SPOILER ALERT) he stands up to Gus when he wants to kill Nacho's father, but you also see him breaking his rule about pulling the trigger himself when Gus wants to kill Ziggler. Because of his loyalty to Gus, he becomes more or less blind to the bad things he's told to do, but when he's on his own he has more of a moral compass, which is something we see in Jesse as well while working for Gus. This is one of the reasons this show is soo good because of the characters.

Some technical feedback: Shoshanna's face gets cut off fairly often (like at 9:36) I think because you position the episode, but then sink lower in your couch over time 😆 or maybe she could sit on four cushions?

Things are really gonna pick up soon. This is where Heisenberg starts becoming a true kingpin without Gus over him. Also a big Mike episode showing a lot of his personal character and not wanting to kill Lydia when it is his call. But when he has someone giving him orders he doesn’t seem to have such a moral objection. You wouldn’t expect it but Mike is also a super deep character

Honestly I hated Walter a lot by this point. This is the first season where I really wanted him to get caught, his ego is way too big now. This is why I prefer Jesse lol

Lowkey Gus hit a chess move from beyond the grave. With him leaving that Bank info on a Picture . Is that technically snitching idk . Mike 100 % should have taken out those 11 guys . Gus was going to kill Walt family to get him out the picture . He was going to kill Hank . Mike was right under Gus commiting all those murders . The Cartel would have took out everybody . There better get it together.

Walt has killed so many people at this point that it’s become the norm. That’s how we know it’s Heisenberg talking. He always brings up his family, but not even Dom and his crew would approve. Mike is an absolute beast when it counts. Gus may be gone, but he still doesn’t play around. By the way, Shoshana, the actress who portrays Lydia is Scottish actress Laura Fraser. So I can’t believe I’m saying this, but… “security alert.” If you know, you know.
