Could be that Gus could see that yes but only after knowing to look. You can see on his face as he walks in the garage he's putting together what Jesse told him about the boy being poisoned. He correctly assumes Walt is playing some chess game.

2024-06-23 20:34:19 +0000 UTCGus realized Jesse’s been compromised and he’s been working with Walt and probably deduced that they set a trap for him. But I also like to think Gus has a kinda instinct/sixth sense kinda thing, some almost metaphysical part of him, that eventually gets overshadowed by his hatred for Hector. Maybe his only blind spot.
