I think you're supposed to feel sorry for Walter Junior more than Walt. But I do feel sorry for Walt a little bit. I think bad people can also do good things, and that bad people deserve empathy for the same things anyone else would. But the empathy doesn't nullify anything. I think the good and the bad all add up, instead of cancelling each other out. I understand how other people like yourself don't feel the same way. To me Walt's defining attribute isn't goodness or badness but weakness. All of his poor choices I think stem from weakness in it's various forms, especially fear and selfishness. But the fear was keeping the selfishness at bay, until he knew he was gonna die soon.

If you missed it, Gus took a counteractive pill before Don Eladio came out. The poison was not ricin, but something more fast acting, maybe a nerve agent of some kind. With some poisons, emergency personnel will try to make you vomit it up. It depends on the exact type of poison whether that will do anything. Notice Jesse and Mike didn't get any. Gus was basically willing to put his own life, but no one else's, on the line to end the cartel and exact his revenge, which in my opinion just makes him even more badass.

Gale was not doing 99, he was doing 96 and proud of that number. He convinced Gus on that last 3 percent that Walt could achieve that he himself couldn't. This scene for Jesse proved that he is at least as good as Gale. Far as I know, no one else at this point can even come close, though I don't remember what the next highest percentage was marked at. But generally, 96 + is phenomenal by this show's standards.

I think Gus barfed for two reasons. Aside from the poisoned drink, he also couldn’t bear to be anywhere near Eladio after what he did years ago. My favorite moment was definitely the last scene when the trio tries to escape and for that one moment Jesse is a marksman. Mike taught him well all things considered.

That’s the thing Vince there is no rest of the cartel to come after them, they just killed the boss and all his captains , the rest of that cartel is just foot soldiers who get paid so now that there’s no one to pay them they’ll run off start their own gangs or join other ones
