I mean this whole time he’s been with The Boys and he hasn’t asked any of them for training? I mean cmon, Butcher is Former/Ex SAS, M.M I honestly don’t remember what he was but he 100% has military background, even Frenchie can teach him a thing or two about chemistry and maybe utilize that one day (unlikely though since it would have to rely on constant lab equipment). Just my opinion though, if I was in the shoes Hughie I would’ve been training from day 1 of joining The Boys.

And I for one hope that, someday, he can use those powers to kill this mf A-train, because that might be the only way he can do it himself. Hell, now that I think about it, Hughie would likely be faster than A-train even with the latter at his prime. And yeah, Butcher hates it, but you can't tell me it wouldn't be satisfying af to see Butcher absolutely beat the brakes off of Homelander and brutally kill him in that good old "The Boys" style. I don't care if Butcher and Hughie crossed the line. The possibility of those two doing what I described is what I hope to see.

He hates it, but it does help him even out the odds for a while. Hughie on the other hand has no logical reason to do the same. I get that he wants to feel special and contribute as much as the rest of the group, but he also has more to lose than Butcher. Not to mention that his clothes won’t warp with him.

The game has changed, so some lines DID need to be crossed. Their little guns, bombs, and other contraptions aren't gonna do the job of putting Homelanders head on a pike.

It's playing Russian roulette with her duaghter life. Hughie teleported . If you watch X men a teleporter hard to catch . That could be a useful power . Hughie looked like a straight junkie .

Homelander can find them anytime he wants and kill them . So Butch having powers makes since . The show had to raise the stakes .
