2024-06-04 17:07:31 +0000 UTCI think for Scary Movie 2 you might want to watch "The Haunting" (1999) Is a 90s movie with Liam Neeson and Owen Wilson. I dont think is one of the best movies ever but I think they use it as the base set up of the movie and then they throw a bunch of other smaller references in the mix like from The Exorcist, Charlie's Angels, The Matrix, etc. but they're probably not worth watching the entire movies to understand the plot The movie also makes a few references to "I STILL Know What You Did Last Summer" So It would be fun if you guys watch the sequels to the first 2 you already watched but I don't think Scream 2 is necessary.

The scene where the news reporter and the camera man are running thru the woods and she grabs the camera and her nose starts running, is from the movie "THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT" I dont know if you have seen or reacted to that one yet but it was a great movie in the 90s. It was a movie that open the doors to many horror movies like Paranormal Activity. I dont want to spoil it much for anyone but is set up as a suspenseful documentary and you get chills and goosebumps throughout the whole movie. In one of the scenes a character records herself scared, crying and sobbing so they made a direct reference to that and over exaggerated it a little bit lol If you haven't seen that movie yet would be fun to watch since you're getting back into little horror flicks and is also one of those "Not so good movies" like Scream and IKWYDLS

2024-06-04 16:08:40 +0000 UTCWe are here. Superb reaction guys. Scary Movie 2 is also awesome. Its not as focused on 1 or 2 movies like Scary movie 1 was with Scream and I know what you did last summer. Watch The Exorcist but other than that its not really mandatory to watch the rest in my opinion.
