Let them enjoy the show, the same way we did when watching it for the first time without having all these expectations like “wait till the end that’s when it really gets good”

BB is definitely a show that takes its time to set things up, but the payoff is amazing. The second half of this season is the payoff and Season 5, I believe, is the best season of television ever.

2024-05-31 16:06:08 +0000 UTCThe one thing I’ve noticed about this show is that it takes time to set the tone of the season in the early episodes, then it really ramps up by the midway point. It makes sense that Hank isn’t fully 100%, he got shot 4 times and that’s going to take a minute for home to recover fully

They or the audience may believe the show is going in a certain direction, but this isn’t one of those shows that’s easy to predict. Just when you think it’s going one route, it jumps the other. But they’ll be happy with the results for sure

2024-05-31 15:37:22 +0000 UTCSo I think some of us (myself included) may have hyped it up a bit too much with how fast things are going to happen now. I can certainly see how it could seem slow, especially given all the comments received leading up to now. I previously described Gale's death as the first drop on the roller coaster and the rest of the series is a wild ride to the finish. And I still stand by that. But we're still on the first drop and waiting for the last car or two to make it over that initial hump and then we're really screaming. I mean, this is a 5 season show and we're already at the start of season 4. There's not a lot of episodes left but there's a LOT of ground to cover and they do it so fucking well.
