The Yashida clan was headed by Shingen and Silver Samurai and Viper were the villains. Also, Yukio, who is in the OG comics, is the same Marvel character from Deadpool 2 who was dating Negasonic. (played by a different actress). And when she said, “You’re holding your own heart in your hand” Don’t forget that quote😉 Now let’s get to the best X-Men movies and finish strong!

If you guys remember, during X3 Xavier was teaching a class and they were debating on transferring the consciousness of one person to another. That man they were talking about was supposedly Xavier's twin brother who was brain dead (this is not accurate to the comics afaik). In the post-credits you see this man waking up. Xavier transferred his consciousness into the body of his brain dead twin brother. That's why he is alive in this movie which takes place canonically AFTER X3

I really did enjoy this movie, it is very fun, the action is amazing and it shows what Wolverine has been up too in the years since the X-men

To not adapt it would be a disservice to the character of Wolverine. But I can understand though that casual fans who aren't aware of this would see this movie as a side story. I get that 100%. Overall still a great reaction and glad you guys enjoyed it

2024-04-28 15:16:58 +0000 UTCHopefully you check out X-Men 97 (10 Episodes) it's the definitive X-Men experience. I think you'll finally understand why so many people love characters like Cyclops, Rogue, Storm, Gambit, etc. Not to mention the movies killing off Scott so he was super under developed, whole X-Men movie franchise is very Wolverine centred. The films do justice to Professor X, Magneto, and Wolverine but everyone else is just underdeveloped. Not to mention alot of the characters are nerfed with Rogue being the most useless X-Men member in these films. X-Men 97 gives everyone equal amounts of character development so everyone gets a chance to shine. X-Men 97 is the best Marvel content of the year, would argue that it's the best thing since Infinity War personally. So yeah 100% recommend it, last episode releases on May 15th so would be a fun watch before Deadpool and Wolverine releases.

Shoshana, I know you hate snakes but I forgot that this movie technically had one too. 😄😆😅😂🤣 I’ve seen the theatrical version once before, but this is the first time I see the extended version. I’m so glad you guys went for it. Next time, Days of Future Past (The Rogue Cut I hope.) By the way, the actor who portrayed Shingen is none other than Hiroyuki Sanada. You guys saw him before in Rush Hour 3 when he portrayed Lee's brother Kenji. He was also in Avengers: Endgame. He portrayed Akihiko, the Yakuza boss who fought Hawkeye (or should I say Ronin).
