The priest that saves Valjean actually played him in the stage production that was called 'The Dream Cast' back in the early 2000's. Where they brought together the most popular actors from the various runs of the Broadway musical.

2024-04-24 02:41:34 +0000 UTCAn amazing musical....this version is unfortunately one of the weakest versions of it (with the changes to the songs, the removal of others, and some of the weaker voices)...but the entire work remains so good, it was a great watch. Anne Hathaway really brought it. And Samantha Barks sort of proves the superiority of the voices from the stage productions...which is great because Eponine was always one of the strongest voices in the show. To S&V, if you ever get a chance to see a full production of it (with the turntable stage, etc) definitely don't pass up on it.
