I'm not sure if anyone said it already, but I'm gonna clarify real quick: The diamond woman in this movie is NOT the kid from Wolverine Origins. Wolverine Origins takes place after the Vietnam War, and the diamond girl in that movie was a KID, unlike the one in this movie who is an adult. Also, the RED guy who can teleport is NOT the BLUE guy from X2. Just saying.

I'm just now getting to this video, but I want to say, you guys will have to go back and watch "Deadpool" again... the scene where Deadpool hits Colossus and breaks his hands and feet, and colossus drags him off and says "We will talk to the Professor" and Deadpool responds "Mackavoy or Stewart", now will make sense after seeing this and knowing the two Prof. X actors lol

Maybe somebody can help with my question. My monthly bill due date is always the 5th and today it showed it was taken out of my account but I still had no access to watch the content. So then I switched payment methods and added a different card and it took the money from the new card as well under the same membership and now I can watch again. So it basically double charged me for the same Patreon membership. How do I get my money back for the extra charge considering there is no one to contact or talk to on the "help and support" on the Patreon app?

This is my favorite X-Men movie!!! Might be one of my favorite superhero movies ever. It’s kind of messy and some of the editing is a little clumsy but the music and the acting and emotion is so top notch. This movie pays tribute to the OG characters but also adds SOOOO many layers of context and development to Eric and Charles.

If we were to compare this movie to the first X-Men movie of 2000, then Days of Future’s Past is equally comparable to X:2 in terms of exponential increase in epicness and execution. I highly suggest the Rogue Cut over the theatrical version. It’s quite a bit longer, but a more solid, coherent story from beginning to end ☺️

Word of advice if y'all watching The Wolverine (2013) next don't watch the theatrical cut watch the unleashed extended edition it's much better and the same goes for Days of Future Past (2014) when you get to it watch the rogue cut not the theatrical cut y'all might have to some searching to find these versions but it's worth it trust me 👍

I love how we get to see what an amazing teacher Xavier really is. The way he’s able to understand each mutant on a personal level to help them unlock their true potential. The scenes between him and Magneto are phenomenal, such amazing chemistry between them.

This film is based on the original 1960s X-Men comics but with a few changes in the teams line-up for timeline reasons. The original Comic line-up included: Scott Summer (Cyclops) Jean Grey (Marvel Girl during this time) Bobby Drake (Iceman) Warren Worthington (Angel) Hank McCoy (Beast) As the film's universe featured characters like Angel and Iceman as teenagers to young adults during the 2000s they of course wouldn't even be alive yet during the 1960s. So instead we got "Angel" Salvadore a character introduced in The 1980s New Mutant comics. We do get a shot of a young Scott Summers when Xavier uses Cerebro but he's only a young teenager so instead the film uses his older brother Alex Summers also known as Havok. I think Jean and Scott were both 18 to 20 when they joined the X-Men in the comics. Beast is the only character from the original line up used in this film, like this film he was just an agile guy with huge hands and feet. Beast was later used in an anthology comic called Amazing Adventures where we saw his transformation into his "beast form" but instead of blue skin he was depicted as being grey. This was caused by self-experimentation further mutating him. Beast would later return in the Giant-Size X-Men (1975) run where he was depicted as being blue but as he was an Avenger at the time he wasn't featured much in X-men comics until later. Beast today is very much an important member of The X-Men and most people have forgotten about his connections to The Avengers. The X-Men line up you know from the 2000s films was introduced in Giant-Size X-Men (1975) when Chris Claremont took over the X-Men bringing them back from a 5 year long break after Stan Lee dropped the X-men to focus on other projects. Characters like Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Thunderbird were all introduced in this comic, Wolverine making his fist appearance in The Incredible Hulk #180 (1974) and then a year later he was added to this new X-men line up.

It’s interesting to see that Erik had only been able to use his powers when he focused on negative emotions like anger. However, after meeting Charles he realized he could also use positive emotions from happier times in his youth. In a way, it’s almost like learning how to use the Force. Overall, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender did a fantastic job portraying the younger versions of Charles and Erik. They did their best to portray two characters that Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir lan McKellen had already established. This is also Kevin Bacon’s first Marvel role. His second role would be in the Guardians Holiday Special where he appears as himself. Some fun facts about Darwin: 1.) his nickname is based on the theory of evolution called Darwinism which English naturalist Charles Darwin took part in establishing. 2.) his actor Edi Gathegi was also in The Harder They Fall. This movie was directed by Matthew Vaughn. He also worked on the Kick-Ass and Kingsman movies. In fact, after this Matthew would go on to direct the first Kingsman movie The Secret Service which you’ve already seen. Up next is Wolverine 2013. There’s an unrated version that you won’t find on Disney Plus. That’s followed X-Men: Days of Future Past. I’m letting you know ahead of time that this movie also has an extended edition that you won’t find on Disney Plus. You’ll have to rent it, but you’ll benefit from getting more context out of the story.
