Joel didn’t save her physically, but he was there to save her emotionally and brought her back to herself. She needed her daddy, and he was there to hold her, tell her she was safe, and bundle her up in his coat to keep her warm. Ellie’s Joel’s baby girl now, and he’ll do everything to protect her.

2024-03-07 20:22:21 +0000 UTCI know y’all are still pretty new to reactions, but in the future, you’re definitely going to need a better sound setup because I wear headphones to hear the reaction, but sometimes the sound is way too loud even on low volume, so just my 2 cents on how to improve the content in the future so the sound isn’t too much for people who wear headphones

2024-03-07 20:19:24 +0000 UTCFor those that don't know.. inject penicillin G intramuscular.. which means, into the butt or thigh.. supposed to use a 20 or 21 gauge 1 1/2 inch needle with a 3 or 5ml syringe.. most injectable penicillin is measured in IU.. which means, international units. Which can be a bitch converting to mg/ml strength.. so in simplest terms, stick the needle in through the rubber stopper at the top of the bottle, draw up into the syringe enough liquid to reach the number 2ml or 3ml on the syringe. That should give you 500 to 750 mg of strength. Give every six hours.. obviously this info is only if you find yourself in a dire situation like Joel and Ellie.. other wise, just go to the hospital, it's easier.. lol.. Oh, and in Joel's case because the wound is on his stomach/chest cavity she can give the injection there, but it's gonna hurt like a bitch!!

I learned this was done to emphasize that Ellie saved herself physically but then after Joel saves her emotionally when she’s escaped, traumatized and dissociated.

The dude who took a cleaver to the neck. His name is Troy Baker, he also did the games Uncharted 4, Death Stranding, Far Cry 4 and Bioshock Infinite. Edit: Also your hair looks nice Vince :)

2024-03-07 15:26:36 +0000 UTCAs someone who hadn’t played the original game, it took me a while to pick up on the cannibalism. Ellie’s discovery didn’t convince me at first, but then Joel locating the corpses helped me piece it all together. That guy said the meat they were pouring into the soup was venison, but then David brought the deer that Ellie shot. You pretty much hit the dart on the target, Vince. Either they were eating Hannah’s father already, or they were going to. Ellie was right to not trust David and his crew, but she couldn’t get far from them with Joel still recovering. Then there’s David preying on her. Ellie has been through so much trauma from losing her girlfriend to witnessing Henry doing what he did, and now this happened. David got his comeuppance, but I wonder how the townsfolk would fare if they caught wind about the cannibalism. He did say not many knew about it.
