2024-03-05 00:35:57 +0000 UTCsigned in on my cpu just to watch the reactions for this series. this first episode is special to me being as the first half of it takes place in south central texas, which is where im from, and the highway sign that says Austin -> San Marcos <- is wild AF to see cause being a San Martian its such a smaller town compared to Austin or San Antonio. The scene where Joel is trying to stop his daughter from bleeding out, and cries out to Tommy in desperation for help messes me up everytime.

I do wish they had Joel getting back home more accurate to the game though, I think it felt more natural than him arriving at the last possible second

This is one my sister’s favorite shows, and she told me that it’s still enjoyable without having played the games before. Hopefully Stranger Things has prepared you for what you’re about to embark on.
