2024-12-05 00:06:04 +0000 UTCI have no idea if you guys still get or read comments on these episodes, but I just wanted to point out, the Russians didn't kill Hopper because he's a sheriff. If he had been a civilian, that would be one thing. They could cover it up, but with a cop, it would draw more attention than with someone who isn't on the force. And with a sheriff, it's even more the case. Cop deaths are treated differently than people who aren't cops, and the higher up the cop is, the harder it would be to make it disappear. Loving these reactions so much, guys.

2024-01-07 20:11:28 +0000 UTCI find a general rule for most series/films is that in shows about smaller areas you can't go around killing their important persons (mayor, police, owners of the bigger businesses etc). Like in Season1 they kill Benny and make it look like suicide because they think they can get away with it but once it goes too far they realize they can't kill the chief of police + Mikes family etc. Brings too much attention. The russians want to be completely undetected.

2024-01-07 04:17:15 +0000 UTCThe fact of the matter is that while Mike, Will, and Lucas were searching for Will in season 1, and fighting for Will in season 2, they were still able to be kids and experience their pre- teen years. Will missed all of that because of the upside down and the shadow monster. So he's still stuck in that time and his friends have been growing up. That's not their fault. But I can understand why he doesn't understand where they are right now. And just so that you know, EVERY episode of this season from now on are straight gas!!! Get ready!!!

2024-01-06 21:24:43 +0000 UTCi'm glad you guys pointed out that its neither sides fault for mike and lucas to have different interests than will and for them to outgrow each other! a lot of people completely blamed mike and lucas but they don't understand that although will has struggled the past year, el literally was a prisoner for 12 years and missed out on her entire childhood but she still grew at her own pace with the other kids in contrast to will who really doesn't want to let go of his childhood. it's not really fair to blame that on mike and lucas who simply want to focus on their relationships especially when their girlfriends just broke up with them and mikes heartbroken over it. also i wasnt a fan of when will said mike "didn't know where dustin was and didn't care" even though will also didn't know where dustin was and didn't make an effort to invite him over to their game haha. it's an interesting dynamic for sure watching all the kids grow up at different paces and try to understand each others viewpoints.

It’s like if you move away for a year and then come home and all your friends have changed and you missed out on certain things because you weren’t around.

Am also glad you guys are being extremely real when it comes to the boys friendship dynamic. Mike got a lot of hate this season for simply focusing on his relationship which I didn’t understand. Because ppl felt so bad for what will when through They failed to understand that these kids are young teenagers and it’s ok to outgrow your friendships, there is nothing wrong with that or to blame one person. Yes will missed out which is sad but you can’t blame the rest of the boys if they’re into other things now. Can’t wait for the next episode.
