2024-01-16 02:33:48 +0000 UTCThis episode, particularly Noah Schnapp's (Will) performance which was absolutely incredible, makes up for my issues with the previous one. Putting a failed spinoff pilot in the show really could have killed its popularity imo if they hadn't have immediately followed it up with such a great episode. I can't wait to see how your opinions on two characters in particular evolve over the next two seasons! (OH! And funfact that I bet has already been mentioned but ima say it anyway: Sean Astin (Bob) was the one who wanted Bob's death to be so gruesome. He came on board to the project with the knowledge it'd be for one season and he'd get a badass death scene. Lol

2024-01-06 18:05:30 +0000 UTCFor those of us born and raised in the 70s and 80s, "strict" meant "abusive." In 1983, when I was 6 years old, I was out with my strict mother and made her mad somehow. She backhanded me across the face and split my lip open with her ring. No one batted an eye at that kind of behavior then. Unless someone reached in to help you break the cycle, you just had to do your best to hang on. Billy will always have a spot in my heart. Life screwed him from the jump.

It perfectly shows the innocence and true fear. Mike doesn’t fully understand what’s happening because he’s a literal child so he covers his ears. GOD ITS SO GOOD

I think having another girl in the group balances it out even though we could do without. Excited for the finale and can’t wait for s3!!! Also billy shines next season, your opinion may also change about him, I ended up liking him by the end.

From beginning to end it’s crazy, the hospital part should be an episode by itself and the fact that they added the morse code part just completes the episode brilliantly. Then El’s reveal at the end finishes it off perfectly. Definitely one of my favorites.
