She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (Final)

Hey Rangers, here is the Final episode of "She Hulk" hope you guys enjoy our reaction!

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (Final)

In this reaction, Vince and Shaw ask if the Hulk having a son is accurate and real. That is why I mention that this is comic accurate. I do think it was crappy the way they introduced him though! But regardless, comic book fans, real fans, will defend what it is true to the comics because THAT'S WHERE IT COMES FROM! So, you will see 500 more of us defending it still 😉

Hector Avila

This is probably the 500th time I’ve seen someone defend this show just because it’s “comic accurate”. When did poor writing and bad storytelling of a TV series take a backseat to a comic book?

imperial

Universal still has distribution rights. If MCU makes a movie then universal can just straight up reject distributing it in theatres or take the majority of the profits.

Glad yall managed to finish it. Cant wait 4 guardians of the galaxy

I tried.. i tried so-so hard to like this show when it dropped. But no matter how entertaining Maslany is as an actor - and she's fantastic.. it just couldnt save this. Much love to those that dug it, but to me.. the thumbnail on this one perfectly encapsulates the entire experience.

mike_monotone

The Hulk does has a son from Sakar. Again, this is Marvel's most comic accurate show ever.

Hector Avila

kevin feige is actually the head of all the marvel movie and show content irl and i think now he’s the ceo of marvel

Alex

skaar is a legit comic book character and has some really interesting storylines in the comics so for sure look out for him in the future. Though they did premier him at a weird time, he has a ton of potential.

When Hulk Jr. showed up, I buried my face in my hands. It's hard to believe this wasn't rock bottom for Marvel, but then came Secret Invasion... The lack of vision, which was once such a benefit for Marvel, has been sorely lacking since Endgame. I'm not one of those that has been slamming everything, but in Phase 1-3 we knew what we were building towards and that was exciting so you didn't mind the occasional dud. But Marvel seems rudderless at the moment. None of these projects seem to be connected, which is supposed to be the whole point of a cinematic universe. And the lack of quality writers in Hollywood with seemingly no real life experience also isn't helping. But it is interesting to note that for years, Marvel faced criticism for being stuck in their formula. Even though it was a winning formula. They also faced criticism for the lack of female representation in the universe. So they accepted this criticism, stepped outside of their formula in Phase 4, and boy have they taken a critical and box office slagging for doing so. They also introduced and elevated more female roles in the universe, and that hasn't gone so well either. Here is the ugly truth. The majority of a comics audience - not all, but a majority - and thus the audience for comic book movies is male. So to ask a majority male audience to spend money to watch films and television shows that are centered on female characters with female issues is probably not a winning formula. This show's main antagonists were not-so-very-subtle caricatures of what makes up the core audience of this show. How do you expect that audience to support your show when you show thinly veiled contempt for them? Even more so when that audience, which grew up reading comics and expects a certain type of story (Phase 1-3 for instance), is now asked to just accept films and shows that exist outside that formula. People hate change. Geeks particularly hate change. You can't try to fit pegs into round holes, and then criticize and, in some cases, alienate your core audience.

At this point I’m just grateful to see the characters come into real life action In general 😭

I applaud what they tried to do in this finale but it did take me out of the universe a bit.

So there have been 9 MCU shows, I'd put this in the middle third. I think it relied heavily on a lot of meta commentary, and if someone isn't aware of the issues they're referencing, it doesn't work as well. That said, I was very surprised that the misogyny thread seemed to go unnoticed throughout the season. It seemed to me that S&V were looking for the show to be something far more bombastic and plot/action driven, than being more character driven. I also think that's pretty common to see, so perhaps it's just a product of what people expect from the MCU (which this episode really does highlight). It's telling that episode 8 gets so much praise, when it does nothing plot-wise (except for the tag at the end). People just seem to want action and favored guest-stars. Episode 7 is really the stand-out episode for me, as that's the one that leans a lot more heavily into character (it also has a lot of great humor, IMO).

Shona holding in her laugh after asking Vince how he thought of the show had me dead 😭😂

Simon

The only cool thing to come out this show is hulks son and daredevil 🤣 can’t wait for guardians and loki season 2!

Simon

Secret Invasion is much worse than this show. The Marvels is still fun, but it also proves that Secret Invasion was a waste in more ways than one. What If season 2 so far has been pretty well. We only have two episodes left.

This was my first time watching the finale. Wow, that was…different. That breaking the 4th wall scene felt so awkward and way too long. They tried to go too meta with it. I agree with Shoshana….they spent an entire episode making fun of Marvel studios and their bad writing, when they could’ve just put that energy into writing a better show…

imperial

I think this show can be summed up in 2 sentences. "Absolutely pointless" and "I want to speak to the manager". It was fun watching your reactions. You guys dont need to be diplomatic with your reviews. I could tell Shoshana thought it was absolute trash. Keep it raw and unfiltered. Everyone is entitled to an opinion afterall. Great reaction guys.

SavageDiplomat

The full rights for hulk are back at Marvel studios.

Don’t get your hopes up, House of M turned into Wandavision/Multiverse of Madness, Eternals aren’t even from Olympia, God butcher killed no gods, and I don’t even wanna bring up Secret Invasion. Plus Disney can’t even do solo Hulk movies and we know they’re not gonna do it as an avengers movie storyline anytime soon.

TC24

Shoshana you better not let my man Vince go cause this man has to be the nicest person I know for not destroying this show once lol

TC24

this is my third favorite show after loki and wandavision. i absolutely loved the sitcom episode format and the comedy and i empathize heavy with Jen. the purpose of this show is to show that super powered people are becoming extremely common in the MCU (prepping for mutants), introduce Jen (who will likely be an avenger), setup Hulk storyline, and to be an example of marvel content that doesn’t have to be end-of-world stakes and plot. that’s why in the finale she talks about how everything doesn’t need these huge flashy endings with all this crazy plot. i love it and i cannot wait for season 2. anyway, the rest of the MCU is still solid in my opinion. Guardians 3 is not bad but WAY overhyped, similar to No Way Home. Werewolf by Night is perfect. Secret invasion is great until the finale. Loki Season 2 is perfect. The Marvels is a really fun time. What If Season 2 has been a blast so far. You’ve got some good stuff to look forward to.

YaYa

fair, wouldn’t call it the worst either because to me that would be Secret Invasion, but definitely not the best from marvel imo..

Pedro Rafael

Both your reactions to Hulk’s son is hilarious

RF

The intro was like a spoof of the og hulk tv show from the 70s.

TROID

this is my third favorite show

YaYa

this was probably everyone's least favourite show too lmao

Pedro Rafael

He had a son on sakaar this pretty much leading into the world war hulk storyline for the movie, I’m not going to go deep into it but yea😭

Dayvon148

It's a very random show but I appreciated the weird directions it took different characters like Wong and Daredevil. I hope She-Hulk appears in a crossover movie or show

George Baxter

That's a real thing. Hulk had a son after World War Hulk. Though he looked and was badass in the comics. I wish they had the rights to Hulk. That would have been a crazy good movie.

Dezmond Broadway

the thumbnail is perfect 😂 i still havnt seen this show and dont plan to haha

Lightstrick

Werewolf by Night is good. So is Guardians 3 and Loki Season 2. Everything else is bad.

toshtao

That thumbnail is pretty much everyone’s reaction to the ending
