As much as I love El, she was no saint, she has killed as much if not more people than 8 has. I am not a fan of the episodes where El is with her bio mom and aunt, nor with 8, but I do feel they were important for her to appreciate Hopper as the father figure she deserves!

She will continue the cycle of hate, killing fathers of children that don't understand why and grow up with hate in their hearts too. I find her quite manipulative even if her intentions are good with El. I didn't like the writing at all in this episode. "Let's have the cashier call them freaks and point a gun so that it's justified for El to hurt him" such bland writing

If Mike hopper etc etc were with her she would never murder in cold blood unless for defense. The path 8 is going down is destined for vileness. It'll start with revenge and before you know it your a criminal. I don't think you have a right to steal and murder just because your an "outcast" with a bad childhood.

El is still learning so in the beginning she may have agreed with her but she quickly learned that she isn’t cool with what they do. Great reaction as always. Happy Holidays guys 💝

The difference between them is El has killed because she is protecting herself & her friends. 8 chooses to go out and hunt down the ppl involved with the lab and kill them with no mercy. El is a Superhero & 8 is vengeful. Can’t wait you are almost done with the season!
