Hey Vince and Shoshana can I interest you two to a movie name The Never Ending Story? Since you're watching Stranger things, you will soon hear a certain song later on that comes from this movie. This movie is an 80s fantasy and I think you two would like it.

2023-11-21 00:57:00 +0000 UTCForbidden Planet (1956) is my favorite 1950's SF movie. It came out the year I was born. I grew up watching and loving this and many other older movies on TV. I really think it helps to know when a movie was made for context. Forbidden Planet was a big inspiration for the creation of Star Trek: The Original Series (1966).

I never actually watched Forbidden Planet until a few years ago but Robby inspired the visual designs of the Robco Protectron featured in the Fallout series and has shown up in differant media as well. Fallout is getting a TV show directed by Jonathan Nolan, brother of Christopher Nolan. Jonathan directed Westworld and was involved as a writer in most of his brothers projects such as The Dark Knight. We've yet to get any trailer, at least shown to the public but I think it will be a show you guys would love.
