2023-10-24 03:03:00 +0000 UTCRemember reading the novel in school and it's just as emotional. All Quiet on the Western Front is another great WW1 film from last year along with the film 1917. Private Peaceful an amazing novel does have a film as well from 2012 but it's lesser known but got okay reviews. But yeah World War 2 has gotten the most attention in media from films, shows, novels, and gaming so it's difficult to find some really amazing modern films focused on the Great War until the last few years.
