It’s great to say “I’d sound proof everything” you would still need a method of getting that done. These things killed 95% of the Earth in the first few hours- destroyed homes, businesses, cars, boats, trains, planes, and cities while they were doing it. These are ‘op’, because you need a sound that bugs them enough to get their head open. Plus amazing shot-gun work.

2023-10-05 02:04:21 +0000 UTCYou also gotta remember it was a month since day 1 for the first scene and just over a year after day 1 for the rest of the movie, they had to secure ways to supplies first then they had to set up the birth back up, there's no electricity or internet all that would have been down day 1 so finding books on how to make explosives and teams would be hard. So it makes sense they couldn't do any of that. Explosives are thankfully not just lying around at walmart

Emily Blunt is awesome in everthing ive seen so far and the director / Father made a really good film.
