For the most part The Jokers depiction of Gotham was basically just New York in the early 1980s. Good film but The Batman was a much better Gotham based film and setting fully using the City to tell a visual story. Joker may as well be set in New York. The Batman and Joker are both great films so it's a win win that they'll no doubt react to both anyways.

2023-07-10 13:49:20 +0000 UTCGhost is actually an enemy of Iron Man and his true identify is unknown in the comics. All we know is Ghost was a highly talented data engineer who worked for major computer corporation and the creator of GhostTech. In the film though we see a woman Ghost known as Ava Starr. No idea if she's the original Ghost similar to how Scott is the second Antman after Hank. Overall fun film. I do wish we got to see Hank and Janet as Antman and the Wasp but it's cool seeing the next generation. Just feels like we skipped some stuff like if the first Batman film to ever release had Dick Grayson (Robin) as Batman rather than Bruce Wayne. Would feel like we've missed alot of stuff and plus Hank is what most people think of when they see Antman, same with Janet and Wasp. The show Avengers: Earths Mightiest Hero's (Highly Recommend btw) features the original Avengers roster from the comics so Hank and Janet are amazing in that and two of the founding members of The Avengers along with Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and later Captain America. Pretty sure there was meant to be an Antman film in Phase 1 where we would've had Antman and Wasp in The Avengers (2012) which makes sense there founding members of The Avengers but that never happened and we got Black Widow and Hawkeye instead giving us a pretty unique starting roster. Then the writer of these Antman movies came in and as he grew up reading Antman comics with Scott Lang he decided to skip Hank and go straight into Scott Lang's adventures as Antman where they'd feature a much older Hank and Janet. On a final note Hank is actually the one who built Ultron in the comics so if Antman was introduced in Phase 1 then we would've had Hank creating Ultron in the MCU instead of Tony. So the history of the MCU would've changed alot if the original planned Antman film went through.
