Fun fact I believe in the comics the reason why thanos was retrieving the infinity stones was to impress his lover lady death and also when captain America was holding thanos’s fingers that was the first time thanos was a-bit scared so when he punched captain America he actually killed him but then cap got revived when time was being reversed

Yea they said that... And they possibly meant it in that way, but by actual comic background, he gets a passive boost just by wielding it. They may not have wanted to portray that during that fight, but its more or less apart of it comic wise, and arguably while they said that, they also gave suggestive evidence for keeping it comic accurate by the gems energy surging through him as he wields them... Even if they didn't intend to portray it that way.

It’s better to watch by release dates because of post credit scenes… Imagine watching in chronological order and you see the post credit scenes for black widow right after civil war instead of after endgame.. or captain marvel is second and you see the post credit scene after the first captain america instead of right before endgame

What a movie. The way you both sat there once it ended almost in shock at what you just saw, that was millions of people worldwide at the cinemas. I'll never forget that feeling, that moment the whole cinema emptied and everyone was just silent, nobody said a word they just walked out in silence think WTF????? And the whole aftermath of trying to rationalize and trying to work out how this could possibly be undone, we had to wait an entire year and I don't know how we didn't collectively lose our minds 😫 I'm so hyped for you guys to see endgame now. Captain marvel and ant man 2 this week and maybe endgame next weekend, that would be the dream 😁😁 but if you've got other stuff on the schedule I'm sure we can all wait a little longer. It was surreal to hear the SOBBING in the theaters. People were losing their minds for every death. And we had a full year between infinity war and end game, wondering what could possibly happen. All of social media went on a theory spree and it was an unreal time. The best is yet to come. I've seen every marvel movie in theaters but end game was the only one my casual marvel fan boyfriend wanted to see in theaters twice. As annoying as it seems for antman and captain marvel to be between the two it really is necessary set up

Pretty much everything since Avengers in 2012 was building up to Infinity War and later Endgame which was originally named "Infinity War Part 2" but was renamed. This movie is loosely based on the The Infinity War six-issue comic book but of course adapted for the MCU's universe and rendition of these characters, like how the Civil War film created it's own version of the Civil War conflict. The comic of course featured a much larger roster of hero's as everyone showed up from Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, etc. Not to mention solo hero's and other teams. Alot of these characters have not been introduced into the MCU yet so it's much more Avengers focused but still it's cool they throw in the Guardians of the Galaxy. Also having Wakanda as the Battleground does increase the number of warriors so they got away with their smaller roster. here's a great video on The Infinity War story arc from the comics. https://youtu.be/AW9FRZ_XmbM Would be cool to see you're thoughts on the comics version of these events for comparison and see what you prefer and what you would've liked to see in the MCU.

Thor's entrance in to Wakanda with new Stormbreaker is one of the best scenes and was epic to experience in the cinemas. Everyone cheering it was insane 😀. I recommend Extraction and Extraction 2 with Chris Hemsworth which is also directed by the Russo brothers 🙂

Besides the MCU lineup to Endgame, Joker was coming out, Game of Thrones was returning for the final season after a 2 year hiatus, The Witcher was debuting, Disney Plus came out with the Mandalorian as its flagship, Demon Slayer debuted, Attack on Titan returned with season 3 after a 2 year hiatus, Vinland Saga debuted, the final season of Vikings premiered, and they dropped a secret gem out of nowhere called Alita Battle Angel. 2019 was crazy year for all of us... and then the world pretty much ended in 2020

While the story does continue in Endgame, this is the film that Marvel was building towards for ten years. And they stuck the landing. Endgame is really good as well, but this film is another level. And if the last couple of years are any indication, this very well could be the peak of the mighty marvel movie machine. It was great to share this with you guys. Don't skip the next two films as they factor into Endgame.

I remember the Russo's confirmed that Thanos defeated Hulk with his own skill and strength rather than with the power stone as when in the gauntlet, the stone does not make him stronger. The gauntlet functions by shutting down the energy of the stones when they're not activated, as having the energy of all six stones constantly active would destroy the user.

Yes... however he does inherently get a strength boost from the energy from it that serges through him naturally just by wielding it... not its max power as the gauntlet was made to harness most of its raw power along with the rest, but just as it shows energy of them serge through him when he connects the gems to the gauntlet, he does retain somewhat of a boost in strength from it naturally. It was mentioned once in the comics too if I'm not mistaken.

The reason Thanos bested the Hulk is because they have similar strength but Thanos is an expert hand to hand combatant, and he used technique, the Hulk has never had to use anything but brute strength to win. That being said, he could have easily used the power stone if he wanted to, so it's even more of a flex that he dominated him without it.

I think whats make Infinity War such a good movie is..it tells you "everyone can die, no one is safe" from the first 10 minutes and it keeps that feeling through the whole movie. We all walked in thinking this was yet another a Avengers movie, no.. it's a Thanos movie. I'm so happy you don't need to wait another year for Endgame like we had to.
