Not sure if you've edited the youtube yet, but one of the greatest little touches is when she first picks up the rifle and closes it, you see her pause and get distracted by a feeling of significance...because the last time she did this was to kill herself. And, yes, Nicole Kidman blew it out of the water for this. That year, she was nominated for an Oscar, but it was for a different movie. I sincerely feel that she should have been nominated and won for this. Oh, and that declaration of "This house is ours" and the clear finality of "No one can make us leave this house" is frighteningly powerful.
