Dwight White

Carnage is a psychotic red symbiote

FatJuggernaut

not really a standalone movie considering that it's building up towards spiderman...

Anthony Garcia

I'm disappointed Shoshana didn't do "STAN LEE!!".

MochanAmazing

ouu twilight is a good movie series to start too if u guys haven’t seen it yet

Patrick Goffney

You guys have to watch into the spiderverse its the post credit scene you guys saw, the animated one.

Calvin Gomez

They were just finishing up the old Spiderman films before they go back to Homecoming. Then they will continue the MCU in release order. The Venom reaction was a request by one of the highest tier patrons.

SavageDiplomat

Hey guys I know you love funny movies so would you think about reacting to 21 jump street or this is the end? Both great laughs and would love to see your guys reaction to those. It’s nice to take a break and laugh once in a while

Simon

I love every reaction you two do, it's always a good time. I love these movies because Tom Hardy is a superfan of the comics and it shows in the films! I also love the fact that he also voiced Venom instead of having a separate actor do it. He would record his lines ahead of time as Venom and then hear them in an earpiece while filming the Eddie scenes so he was essentially having a fluid conversation with himself. Such a great little detail that he went above and beyond for! Can't wait for the Spiderverse movie, it's such a viiiiiibe, you two will love it! Speaking of Tom Hardy, it's almost criminal that you two haven't watched "Mad Max: Fury Road"! One of the BEST action movies in the history of cinema, it's truly a roller coaster ride of a movie, and it won 6 out of the 10 Oscars that it was nominated for which is super rare for a movie that's 75% action. Highly recommend it!

DaftBasterd

So this is the long-standing backstory of Carnage in the comics for many many years. Don't worry, I wouldn't consider this a "spoiler" but I'll give you a brief comic summarization. "Carnage" Is the direct offspring of Venom, basically his "child" symbiote, reproduced asexually. Basically, a break off of the goo that is the symbiote, and as it soon bonds with a host, it takes on characteristics of that host, the very reason "Carnage" has his namesake is because the symbiote is bonded with a serial killer... And every new generation of symbiote tends to be stronger than the last.

Spider-man: into the spider-verse is an amazing Spiderman movie, guarantee yall will enjoy it. The 2nd movie just came out in theater.

Saul Hernandez

Yeah it’s dogshit but it leads to bumblebee and I lowkey want them to watch that

Chriis Josiiah

Somebody mentioned this but yeah definitely stay away from Venom 2 until you get further in the MCU films. We'll give u the green light when its time

Joe Deluca

Haha had I not watched all these in a row with you guys I wouldn't have caught that the "alive" astronaut at the beginning was "Jameson" as in J Jonah's son who was also an astronaut in the original trilogy when he was engaged to MJ.

Fawks

Pls watch the Step up movies

Mina_3.4

I use hot.... 😣

Mark W

Yeah I can't wash my teeth with cold water that's insane

Edward Paul

Andres Avendaño

ImTorchhh

They said it in a previous video that they are not. It has to win a poll. It’s a horrible movie anyway

Fujipredator

Yea go back to the mcu finish that then do venom 2 since the post credits will confuse you

Michael

can yall watch transformers last knight?

Propax691

Are you ever diving back into the MCU as a whole? Bc if you just stick to Spiderman things might get confusing by the Far From Home movie

Zac Cochrane

it's to hard to explain carnage without spoilers.

jake

I cant believe they played almost an entire scene of Spiderman into the spiderverse. Its a sign Vince. We need that asap. Top class reaction as always guys.

SavageDiplomat

Are y’all gonna watch “Into the Spiderverse”? It was the animated preview at the end…it’s easily one of the best Spider-Man movies definitely top 3 imo…and you won’t have to worry about spoilers for the MCU for that one

TC24

i have no interest in most of the marvel stuff like spiderman or the wider thing, but i loved both venom movies as standalone films and they weren't ruined at all by not watching spiderman

Lee-anne

Also guys if you remember the guy who turned into Venom in Spiderman 3 was Eddie Brock. Lol. Was really surprised you didn't pick that up. And there is a 2nd Venom movie. Not sure when is the best time to watch it. And the animation seen was Spiderman Into the spiderverse. Which is a recommended watch

Jonny

Anybody know if uhmm.. uhmm.. *snaps fingers* uhmm.. Anybody know if Wayne Brady is in this? 8-)

Lifehouse

Heath Ledger was Joker in The Dark Knight and passed away in 2008...that was a crazy guess lol

LeSteeler

So how venom is connected, it is Sony and technically mcu , it’s just placed in a different multiverse

Simon

Hold off on Venom 2 for some time before you get further along in MCU

Mark

The sole survivor of the crashed space ship is Astronaut John Jonah Jameson lll the son of J. Jonah Jameson the editor of New York's Daily Bugle. We only get the name "Jameson" but looking at the comic's he was a Colonel and one of the youngest applicants to ever be accepted into NASA's astronaut program. We actually saw John Jonah Jameson lll In Spider-Man 2 where MJ asked to marry him but of course different universes Venom (film) has no connection to the Sam Rami Spider-Man movies or The Amazing Spider-Man. Venom takes place on Earth-688 so this is a whole new continuity. Earth-616 Venom (Mainline Marvel Comics Continuity) So the biggest problem alot of people had with this film is the lack of Spider-Man and how Venom himself is heavily linked to Spider-Man's abilities in the comics. In the mainline Earth-616 comic's Peter found the symbiote on Battleworld (Avengers and other hero's teleported here to fight) in the Secret War event comics 1984/1985 and unwittingly brought it back to Earth once the hero's returned from Battleworld. At the time Peter and the viewers had no idea what it was. The symbiote pretty much mimicked his suit turning it black with a really cool large white Spider symbol on his chest and back but Peter maintained his normal size. When Eddie Brock got the symbiote he also got the abilities of Spider-Man pretty similar to what happened in Spider-Man 3 church bell knocks Venom off Peter and it falls onto Eddie. This explains why Venom has the Spider Logo and can shoot webs even though Eddie himself was never bitten by the Spider. Of course in this film there is no Spider-Man so we don't get the Spider Symbol and instead of shooting webs Venom kind of stretch's out grabbing onto things like a web so they got away with it a little explaining that Eddie was venom first in this universe. Ultimate Universe Venom In the Ultimate Universe the symbiote wasn't an alien but instead it was developed by Scientists Richard Parker (Peters Dad) and Eddie Brock (Father of Eddie). This was a project to heal humanity of disease and illness, creating a symbiotic biosuit that would encase and augment the wearer's body; and naming their creation "Project Venom". Both Peter and Eddie came together to finish there fathers work. Peter spilled a drop onto his hand that engulfed him and formed into a black costume. The black suit augmented all of Peter's powers, When an armed robber shot a man, Peter was reminded of the death of Uncle Ben and lost control of the suit, transforming into a monster and nearly devouring the robber. Struggling to free himself of the Suit, he accidentally leapt into some electric cables, destroying the Suit but leaving trace. This upset Eddie leading to him hunting down the trace of the suit which gave birth to Eddie as Venom in this universe. In The Amazing Spider-Man 2 you could actually see "Venom containment" on Harry's computer display as one of the files he could open. In trailers for the movie you could even see a Symbiote in containment but these were replaced with Doc Ocks arms in the movie. So I could 100% see The Amazing Spider-Man going with the Ultimate Universe origin where Peter's dad created him alongside Eddie Brock's dad at Oscorp. Funny Venom I personally loved the silliness as long as the jokes and tone were handled well which they were in some areas. I also wish the film was Rated R like Deadpool and Logan a mix of silliness and mature content just like the Venom comic's and the character himself who is far from being a very serious character but is still deadly and scary to his enemies and the average person who sees him. Into the Spider-Verse (What you saw at the end) Okay 100% you gotta watch Into the Spider-Verse the little teaser you saw at the end. It's amazing and 100% safe to jump into at this moment in time. You'll love it and from you're reactions to the teaser I can tell you're going to have a blast.

Isaac

Next is Spider-Man: Homecoming

Jarick Richardson

Love all of the superhero movies. Can't wait til you dive back into Xmen and Wolverine. Apocalypse is amazing. They all are. You're gonna love em. You guys rock.

Jonny Kerr (JK)

Yes do hold off on the Venom sequel for it will spoil a future MCU Spider-Man movie.

William Darling

Now stay away from Venom 2 until you've seen Spider-Man: Far From Home
