I'm sure someone said this already, but Anakin was actually 9 in Episode 1, and Padme was like 3 or 4 years older. And by episode 2, Anakin is 19, making them both adults, so like, it's fine.

A lot of people who react to this film are surprised, but I want to inform that Yoda is not just "a" Jedi master, he is THE Jedi master, he is also THE master of the 4th form of lightsaber combat out of 7, which relies heavily on acrobatics through the force, he's the Grand Master of that form of lightsaber combat and the single best Jedi swordsman out of all the Jedi.

I truly wanna blame the writing, George Lucas' weak point has always been love stories (most of his movies avoid love plots) but in the upcoming 3rd film I think hes a lot better, older, and way better at acting so give him one more shot!

It’s been confirmed that Anakin’s path would have turned out very differently if Qui Gon trained him instead. The famous music playing during the final fight scene against Darth Maul in Episode 1 is called “Duel of the Fates”. This is in reference to the fate of Anakin Skywalker depending on the outcome of that fight. Had Qui Gon lived, he would have treated Anakin like a son, instead of Obi Wan’s strict method of treating him like a student. Obi wan is strict to the Jedi Code of not having any emotional attachments to people. Qui Gon Jinn disagrees with the Jedi on this — he believes love and compassion are still important traits, and that’s why he was never on the Jedi Council. Anakin needed that father figure in his life in order to counter those angry feelings of losing his mother.

2023-03-26 20:53:21 +0000 UTCYea Anakin is just like young Luke as far being emotional and headstrong, what they both share is they became Jedi so late age wise, so they aren’t as detached to their feelings like Obi Wan or Windu and have emotional connections like family and people they love, Obi Wan was taken so young he can’t even remember the faces of his family. And the writing for Anakin and Padame was cringeworthy this movie so don’t hold too much against Anakin, he’s better written in Revenge of The Sith and he’s way better written in the Clone Wars animated series if y’all ever watch it. It’s basically the tales of Obi Wan and Anakin and other Jedi fighting in the clone wars taking place between this movie and Revenge of the Sith.

2023-03-26 16:48:05 +0000 UTCSo just to be clear the troopers in the white armour are not Stormtroopers but Clone Troopers. The Clone Troopers in many ways the predecessor of the Empire's Stormtroopers who are made up of enlisted Solders from across the galaxy rather than Clones breed for war. In truth the Clone Phase 1 armour in this film looks more inspired by Jango Fett's Mandalorian armour so visually the helmet and armour look pretty different to that of Stormtroopers, helmet is the biggest difference between the Clones and Stormtroopers. You'll see alot of cool precursor ships and vehicles used by the Republic which may remind you of future Imperial ships showcasing the evolution of the tech. All I can say without going into spoilers.
